Today, I lost my prescription glasses. I had planned to go out this morning to buy a few things I needed for the house. I didn’t notice they fell, and I don’t even know where they might have dropped. I only realized it when I was getting off the transport vehicle on my way to the mall. Another expense again, because I really can’t go without wearing glasses.
Honestly, I still have a pair of glasses at home, but they’re just the ready-made ones that don’t have the right prescription for my eyes. But I guess they’ll have to do for now.
I have three ready-made glasses at home because I used to only use reading glasses. However, they kept breaking since they were made of cheap materials. But because they were inexpensive, I bought several as backups.
This is another additional expense for this month because of my carelessness.
Actually, I was hoping that maybe I just left my glasses at home and forgot to bring them. Haha! So, when I got home, I immediately looked for them, hoping I had left them behind.
And of course, they weren’t at home because I really did lose them. Haha!
So, I searched for my spare reading glasses. I always keep a pair of reading glasses at home with a prescription somewhat close to my vision just in case of emergencies like this.
I’m just thinking that the prescription on these glasses might already be too far off for my current eyesight since I haven’t used them in a while, and I haven’t checked them.
When I found my reading glasses, I tried them on right away. They still work, but they’re not as clear as my lost eyeglasses.
Tomorrow, I’ll get a new pair made, but this time, I’ll add a strap so they won’t fall off so easily.
