Cuando los Cosmos comienzan a florear no hay quien los pare, en esta oportunidad "amarillo" es el color que decora los espacios del jardín. Son ocho pétalos de un amarillo llamativo, con un pequeño ramillete en el centro, que al secar se convierten en semillas para continuar la reproducción de la planta. De igual manera, exhibe unos tallos largos que terminan en botones, son futuras flores, siempre se inclinan para buscar la luz solar. La planta alcanza una altura promedio de unos cuarenta centímetros, de hojas más largas que ancha, de un verde vibrante que hace combinación perfecta con el amarillo de sus flores.
