TikTok plans to block TikTok this Sunday said Reuters, that is if the Supreme Court doesn't intervene
Trump will be sworn in the day after that, his administration might try to negotiate with TikTok; but until then, it seems TikTok is going to redirect American users to a page talking about the ban
You might even say TikTok is trying to not only weaponize but also blackmail Americans into trying to reverse bills that might put pressure on TikTok
The question isn't is TikTok a Chinese spy app but rather who isn't
Because who isn't as different countries are harvesting and sharing data with each other as mentioned by people like Edward Snowden
In other words, banning TikTok doesn't stop China or many other countries from spying on people; you must know that data mining or whatever you want to call it happens in a variety of ways through governments and corporations through servers and data centers all over the world; we're talking about things like cookies, cache, metadata, Internet traffic, private messages, comments, search prompts, video uploads, allegedly spy cameras hidden inside televisions, microphones allegedly in cable boxes, data collected from cell phones, smart devices, lights, cars, mics, cameras, what is typed into keyboards, appliances, tablets, websites, video uploads, posts, downloads, banking transactions, etc
In other words, the problem isn't necessarily a single website or app like TikTok
The problem is the potential and implementation of things like the Chinese Social Credit Score which people like Alex Jones have warned about for decades which ends up debanking people which is why Bitcoin is crucial in escaping the Prison Planet
I would love it if Elon Musk was able to purchase TikTok
Part of the problem is it seems some of the big tech platforms like Facebook and YouTube or Google got money from especially the American government especially as they were being developed allegedly and I'd suggest that taxes are not allocated to funding those types of projects
Perhaps Elon Musk and Vivek's DOGE could try to totally stop funding or sending money to Google and Facebook and others assuming the American government still is engaged in those types of activities as that might be a form of enabling tech cartels and monopolies into having unfair advantages over smaller companies in the free market

It's like we're two characters in a movie played by the same actor said Jim Carrey as the doctor to himself being his own grandpa in Sonic 3. You can pirate free movies on YouTube in the same way you watch videos in YouTube, so why use the word pirate to describe it if it the same as watching videos and what is the difference between YouTube and other video platforms that have free videos or even movies? Good movie. Misty or whatever at the end. Not sure if Shadow is dead or not. Looks like they want to make a 4th movie. Eggman Ivo Robotnik had a grandpa named Gerald. Reuniting families. The supervisor is a giant R2D2. They fought. They got rid of the barrier. The New Republic came and fought off the bad guys but did so in a dangerous way as they let the enemy's ship crash into the city as opposed to trying to negotiate or take it gradually to minimize collateral damage.
