Hey folks, as Linea is one of the last and next major L2s on Ethereum that’s left to release their own token, in today’s article I’m going to share the places that I literally go to nearly every day on Linea ecosystem in hopes to not only scale up my on-chain activity, but to also help me potentially turn a profit in doing so at the same time.
In no particular order…
Using Revox Content Hub to read
Described as a place where “AI, Web3, and DeFi converge,” Revox has a robust ecosystem with dozens of different projects:
There are actually two different protocols that I interact with on a daily basis through Revox, the first being the Revox Content Hub (ReadOn) where you can curate different articles daily on Linea, earning 100 Revox points per day, and also a potential allocation of their $READ token to the best contents every week:
Using Lense to DYOR
The second protocol that I use daily via Revox, is Lense, which utilizes AI to give you real-time analysis of the top trending tokens or cryptocurrency projects. Everyday you can claim 20 credits which then in turn can be used to do AI token analysis such as this one that I did on $SUI:
Not only do I find the token analyses that Lense does helpful, but stacking revox points (through both Lense and ReadOn) is speculated to earn part of the 10% proportion of $REVOX when TGE supposedly happens later this year:
Using Yooldo and 0xAstra to play games
Although there’s many web3 gaming projects out there on Linea. The two I visit regularly are Yooldo and 0xAstra.
Yooldo:
With the $YOOL airdrop “just around the corner,” Yooldo, a web3 gaming platform has a daily check-in event which I’ve done religiously for the past…244 days:
Currently they also have a “Play and Charge “ campaign that will increase your chances as well to earn a bigger allocation of the reported 30% to be dropped to users:
0xAstra
0xAstra is a strategy game that’s currently in it’s phase 1 of it’s “resource collection.” Just as it sounds, once every 24 hours you can collect different resources from different planets, all represented by different L2s, including Linea:
Additional resources can be obtained by either mining or exploring (or essentially bridging), all conducted via Orbiter Finance on the backend. (A cool part to is that you can still earn Orbiter’s O-points while conducting your missions.
Eventually however the game will go into Phase 2 in which you will take your collected resources to build bases and “survive to earn”:
Although it’s a little unclear of what the token’s utility may have in the game, by either late 2024 or early 2025, 0xastra will eventually drop their own token $STAR.
Using Across and Owlto to Bridge
I use several bridges regularly, but the ones I use the most often specifically for Linea include Owlto and Across. Let’s start with Across…
Across
I’ve written about Across protocol several times in the past, but with Linea in particular, the transactions get filled normally in seconds, and has perphaps one of the cleanest UI/Ux’s for a bridge out there. In addition to be dirt cheap, there’s currently added incentives via Dapdap’s Linea Liquid Legends campaign where you can earn raffle tickets in hopes to win part of a $10,000 prize pool for every time you use it to bridge to Linea:
Owlto
A bridging protocol that has yet to release its own token despite a multi-million dollar raise is Owlto.finance, a bridge that allows you to transfer pretty small amounts (0.0001 $ETH) for nominal fees.
I usually use Owlto when they have point multiplier quests for bridging to certain chains, but they also have an on-chain daily check-in system which of course, I usually choose Linea:
And apart from simply trying to gain points for an impending airdrop, it should be also important to note that Owlto offers bridging routes to the not-as-much popular L2s, including Morph, Redstone, and Cyber.
Using DMail to check e-mails
A messaging protocol that allows e-mails to be sent across several different blockchains, any may have faded DMail after it’s initial airdrop earlier this year, yet I still use DMail on a daily basis to send e-mails to web2 addresses via Linea, earning me 100 DMail points a day. Although there hasn’t been an official announcement as to when, it has been confirmed that there will be a phase two for the $DMAIL airdrop and I’m using Linea to stack as many DMail points until that time comes.
Minting NFTs on Micro3
Another protocol I visit on at least a daily basis is Micro3, who like many of the other protocols on this list, have yet to release their own token as well:
Micro3 at its core is an NFT platform which allows you to mint or create your own NFTs. Additionally they usually have several simultaneous or campaigns with quests/tasks to give you exposure to different ecosystems. For instance, as part of their current AllStars campaign you can currently mint their free Linea Park NFT:
And apart from minting Linea NFTs, Micro3 has a daily check-in which you can do on-chain through Linea to gain extra points called MXPs.
Learning about new protocols on Layer3
And lastly, you may already be familiar with Layer3 if you’ve completed Linea Culture SZN or Linea Park, but similar to Micro3, Layer 3 also has a daily gm check-in and helps give users exposure to new protocols and ecosystems — most notably on Linea. Currently they have more a dozen different quests that are Linea-specific:
If you’re too lazy to do any of these, then I highly recommend that you at least do the streak quest that simply tasks you just to transact on Linea daily:
Conclusion
And that’s all folks. Everyday I’m on each of those 9 protocols, exploring, grinding, and seeing all the different new things that are coming out on Linea every single day.
Is there a place on Linea that I left off this list that you think is worth checking out? If so, please let me know in the comments below and I’ll go take a look.
