Dittrichia viscosa is a plant that appeared in several of my older posts because it is a widespread plant here in my area. However, the Dittrichia viscosa in today's post looks different.
It isn't green anymore.
It's brown, it's dry, and the yellow flowers have turned into a multitude of fluffy, parachute-like seeds.
When the seeds get dispersed by the wind, the remaining flowerheads look a lot like flowers again. Not like the real, fresh flowers, of course, but a new kind of desiccated, mummified ones.
These photographs were taken more than a decade ago. In 2009.
I'm still using my left hand to write the post, so this thing, while being considerably better than what I published yesterday, is still very short. However, at least this time the photographs are my work ... like almost always here on HIVE.
I'm glad you're progressing quickly. Don't press yourself. 🌷🌼
Get well soon m'dear...just imagine how many crawlies are going around unphotographed while you're lolling around doing bugger all🙃

It is dry but giving another look entirely
It looks good maybe because of the way you snapped it
I don't know what your ailment is since I normally join this panel, I place the votes and when I have time I read and comment, work takes up a lot of time, but you have to work, I hope you recover, you are a very active man, imagine with the left hand you write, it takes more time, so your effort is highly appreciated
The actual fact that your photographs, irrespective of the distant time frame still look so beautiful leaves me nothing but amazed and awed fr. I hope you get better soon💕
Thank you. 🙂
