There is no shortage of strangely powerful creatures on our planet. Depending on the environment in which a particular species of animal lives, they undergo various physical changes. Basically, in an environment, animals have to face many adversities. These physical changes take place between them in order to survive in these hostile environments. And this is how evolution has been taking place in the animal kingdom since the beginning of time. Let me explain with a simple example.
We humans face many problems while traveling in the desert for a long time. The main problem is the lack of water. There is also a lack of food and extreme heat. Now the most popular animal in the desert is the camel. The camel's body, however, has a special system to deal with all these adversities.
In order to avoid water shortage, there is an arrangement to collect extra water under the camel's neck. There is a lot of food shortage in the desert.The hump of the camel's back helps a lot to meet this lack of food. These kujas are mainly made from excess body fat. So when the body cannot make up for the lack of food, the body's need for food is met through the metabolism of the fat in this kuz. They can close their noses in the same way as they close their eyes. They do not have any difficulty in the desert sands. The hairy body of the camel also protects their skin from extreme heat.
Above is an example of how camels survive in the desert. There are many more similar creatures that have to resort to all sorts of weird physical tactics to survive. Such a strange ability is the ability to create light from one's own body.
This ability of animals to produce light from their own bodies is called bioluminescence. Animals that have this ability are called bioluminescent animals. People have to rely on fire or electric lamps given by science to produce light. But bioluminescent animals can produce this light through a special chemical change in the body. This chemical reaction occurs in the body due to an enzyme called Luciferge.
