- Welcome everyone to the first edition of my progress updates regarding the hive blockchain play2earn game dCrops. I started playing this game semi-seriously approximately a month ago, acquired some alpha packs, some crop tokens, opened maybe 10-20 packs, and then acquired additional lands and seeds on the open market.
- To be honest the opening screen gives me farmville memories from facebook days, I actually use to play that for fun for a decent amount of time on facebook back in the day.
- Currently there are 8 days and 14 hours left in the current Spring Season. My current rank of #19 with 826 shares and a pending season payout of 4761 crop tokens are an illusion. From what I see as the season progresses scores jump up quite high at the end, last season I netted around 2000 crop tokens, it was my first season competing, I was happy with the result. I plan to gradually increase crop tokens and seeds/land over time, this game is very passive once your crops are planted. Check once a day, I'm loving it like a McChicken.
- As you can see Ive already completed my quests for this season. Currently when I claim I will get 19 items. The amount of items scales up based on your current crop power average, see the below official post for more information.
dCrops Quest Reward Update Information
- Ok heres the Juice! Currently Im holding 33 alpha packs (66,000 Crop Power) and 35,750 crop tokens (35,750 Crop Power) currently. In addition I have 189 shares of assorted 3 star crops I have not sold (189 Crop Power)
- Total: 101,939 Crop Power
- This entitles me to a payout of 0.2 hive every day
- As you can see at this point in the season about 1/4-1/3 of my fields are seedless, so I definitely need to acquire more seeds over time.

You can get it done with 100 dollars max to set up ur land and seeds. $10-20 worth of crop tokens you buy and send to game. If you would like tips let me know what you are working with.
The basic strategy that I use is wait until beginning of season, refresh any crops from wrong season its only 10 crop token per refresh, when you get a common/rare plant from current season, or a simple harvest/plant mission for current season, move onto next slot, also the harvest 1 star crop from current season.
Setup all your slots before you plant anything for the season this is key, then start planting, Hold more crop tokens and alpha packs to boost quest payout and also receive liquid hive payout every day. Also always keep any 3 star crops you harvest, never sell them, they count as if crop tokens for the quest rewards and payout.

Thank you for the detailed explanation. I think my biggest problem is that I don't refresh the missions. I've just been trying to complete what they gave me in the beginning because there's a red X near all of my uncompleted missions that say they can't be rerolled and I'm worried if I try I'll lose the ones I have done.
For some reason 2 star pumpkins just haven't been coming up and I just don't want to go spend $130 more dollars on bell pepper seeds so I just gave up on it and wondered how other people are managing to do this.
So theres an issue with quest objectives, the quests can sometimes be from different seasons, making them literally impossible to complete, we are currently in the spring season, which allows growing of the following seeds/crops
So you need to refresh bell pepper and pumpkin, impossible to complete. So keep this in mind when next season starts, should work out much better.
