Hospital is built and meant to save lives of any individual but for Nigeria, the story is different. Only those that are financially okay are meant to be treated and live a good life .We have both government and private hospitals, but none of them helps the privilege. Private hospitals always demands for a huge amount of money from patients. An emergency patients will be delayed just because he has to obtained the hospital card first, later won't be treated because of he didn't have much money.
Neither is government hospital better. Their doctors are not always at work. They would tell a patients that is pain that he/she should be patient that her doctor is not in office and was just called from home, that is one. They are always a lot of patient because they receive less payment to private ones. Some people would go back home without been attended to because the doctors around are few compare to the patients.
The nurses at government hospitals also dont behave well to the patients because they believe no one would question them. They treat patients with annoyance because they know they wont complain because they can't go to private hospitals because of the huge money. A lot of lives have been lost with this.
I hope this country get better. I am a doctor, lawyer,engineer in my country ,a song we do sing in my primary school then in Nigeria here but we are not ooo, everyone just find a means to live. May God help us.
