Bridge to the sun
Hello everyone dear friends and welcome back to my blog. As you know, watercolor painting does not use white color.
The painting technique of watercolor has always been the one that best manages to represent the brightness of light using the white of the sheet of paper. Then the paint lets the light of the sheet emerge by overlapping the colors by successive glazes. In the last watercolor I share today, which represents a bridge in full light, I tried to show the beauty of the landscape lights.
The shadows of the vegetation help to bring out the bright lights of the bridge and the river, because the main subject is light.
I left some parts of the vegetation without color just to highlight the darker parts of the rest of the landscape.

Ponte al sole
Ciao a tutti cari amici e ben tornati sul mio blog. Come sapete la pittura ad acquarello non si avvale del colore bianco.
La tecnica pittorica dell'acquarello da sempre, è quella che meglio riesce a rppresentare la luminosità della luce avvalendosi del bianco del foglio di carta.
Quindi la pittura lascia emergere il chiaro del foglio sovrapponendo i colori per velature successive.
Nell'ultimo acquarello che condivido oggi, che rappresenta un ponte in piena luce, ho cercato di mostrare la bellezza delle luci del paesaggio. Le ombre della vegetazione contribuiscono a far risaltare le luci chiare del ponte e del fiume, perchè il soggetto principale è la luce.
Ho lasciato alcune parti della vegetazione senza colore proprio per evidenziare le parti più scure del resto del paesaggio.
Spero il dipinto vi sia piaciuto, un abbraccio dal ponte.
