Wrestling Board Game (ENG/ITA)

Hello everyone, today I want to talk to you about what I'm doing these days, in these months I'm making a board game based on the world of wrestling, actually this project is taking shape now, it has its origins several years ago and I also talked about it on this platform. In fact, it all started from some wrestling-themed illustrations by those who publish here, the Astrowrestlers, do any of you remember them? At the time I thought of using these illustrations to create a card game, and in fact I did, I idealized the rules, the mechanisms and also created the design of several cards, but I wasn't entirely convinced, so I only temporarily set the project aside. For several months I took it up again and after a long period of ideation, where I thought about ideas and methods of play I moved on to the phase of writing the rules, an extremely complicated phase because doing so you realize that not everything always works, so after a thousand corrections I managed to have in my hands a correct and smooth rulebook. Another very complicated phase was balancing the playing cards, so as not to make them too weak or strong and to make the game work in a fun way. Now I'm in the phase where I'm creating all the graphic material for the cards, the board, the boards, etc. This is definitely a long and laborious step but it's the one that stresses me the least. Once I have all the complete graphics I will have to physically create all the various supports that make up the game.

Ciao a tutti, oggi voglio parlarvi di quello che sto realizzando questo periodo, in questi mesi sto realizzando un gioco da tavolo basato sul mondo del wrestling, in realtà questo progetto si che si sta concretizzando ora, ha le sue origini diversi anni fa e ne parlai anche su questa piattaforma. Infatti tutto nasce da delle illustrazioni a tema wrestling chi pubblica qui, gli Astrowrestlers, qualcuno di voi se li ricorda? Al tempo avevo pensato di utilizzare queste illustrazioni per creare un gioco di carte, ed in effetti lo feci, idealizzai le regole i meccanismi e creai anche il design di svariate carte, ma il tutto non mi convinceva appieno, quindi accantonai solo momentaneamente il progetto. Da diversi mesi lo ho ripreso in mano e dopo un lungo periodo di ideazione, dove ho ragionato idee e metodi di gioco sono passato alla fase di scrittura del regolamento, fase estremamente complicata perchè nel farlo ci si accorge che non sempre tutto funziona, quindi dopo mille correzioni sono riuscito ad avere in mano un regolamento corretto e senza intoppi. Altra fase molto complicata è stata il bilanciamento delle carte da gioco, per non renderle troppo deboli o forte e per fare si che il gioco filasse in modo divertente. Ora mi trovo nella fase dove sto realizzando tutto il materiale grafico delle carte, il tabellone, le plance ecc. ecc. questo è sicuramente uno step lungo e laborioso ma è quello che mi stressa di meno. Una volta che avrò tutte le grafiche complete dovro realizzare fisicamente tutti i vari supporti che compongo il gioco. c
