Hello dear friends,
I am still always working on my alabaster sculptures, and the first one is getting closer and closer to the final result 😅
I'm concentrating mostly on the hands, arms and neck, so a friend of mine has been modeling for me a bit.

Ciao cari amici,
sto sempre ancora lavorando alle mie sculture in alabastro, e la prima é sempre piú vicina al risultato finale 😅
Mi sto concentrando sopratutto sulle mani, braccia e collo, per cui mi ha fatto un po' da modella una mia amica.
The second one still needs more time, and I have to say that I chose poses that are difficult to sculpt.... it's a little torture because I can never see the face well from the front since there is a head covering it, and even to get into it with the tools is not easy...
La seconda invece ha bisogno ancora del tempo, e devo dire che ho scelto delle pose difficili da scolpire... é un po' una tortura perché non vedo mai bene il viso da davanti essendoci di fronte una testa che la copre, e anche per entrarci con gli strumenti non é facile...

Unreal, when you look at the raw rock first (the lumps you brought back from your trip) and what you bring out of them. Like Michelangelo said, it is in the stone, the artist just has to free it (or something like that, I am paraphrasing here).
