The blogger activity on Hive, in addition to any rewards obtained, also offers a points accumulation system, directly connected however to the rewards obtained. The value is absolutely indicative, there is no advantage over the others, but it is a recognition that many ignore or give little value to it, but which I personally appreciate and am proud of. In fact, I've recently reached Reputation 78, with almost 3000 posts published, as evidenced by @hivebuzz's invaluable platform.
In reality, the value for some users is distorted, or rather not quite authentic. This is due to the active pre-HF vote bots that Hive generated, whereby by sending a certain amount of coins, users promoted their content. So, in a certain sense, they voted for themselves, with a vote weight, that of the bot, even a substantial one.
Fortunately, to safeguard the authenticity of the platform, improvements have been made such as the 50%-50% rewards between curator and author and the introduction of the downvote to cancel any abuses.
Personally I have never used bots to promote my posts, I also joined Hive later than that period, so the Reputation is the result of community votes only. From the general classification, it can be seen at the moment that he occupies position 111, and I trust, indeed I set it as a personal goal, to enter the top 100 by the end of the year.
Increasing my Reputation from the current 78 up to the next level 79 will be challenging and could possibly always be achieved by the end of this year (I don't know the data well to be able to say for sure).

In realtà, il valore per alcuni utenti è distorto, o meglio non è proprio autentico. Ciò a causa dei vote bot attivi pre HF che ha generato Hive, per cui inviando un certo quantitativo di monete, gli utenti promuovevano i propri contenuti. Per cui, in un certo senso, si autovotavano, con un peso di voto, quello del bot, anche consistente.
Per fortuna, per salvaguardare la genuinità della piattaforma, sono state apportate modifiche migliorative come le rewards 50%-50% tra curatore e autore e l'introduzione del downvote per annullare eventuali sopprusi.
Personalmente non ho mai utilizzato i bot per promuovere i miei post, sono anche entrato in Hive tardi rispetto a quel periodo, per cui la Reputazione è frutto esclusivo dei voti della comunità. Dalla classifica generale, si evince al momento che occupa la posizione 111, e confido, anzi lo pongo come obiettivo personale, di entrare nella top 100 entro la fine dell'anno.
Aumentare la mia Reputazione dall'attuale 78 sino al prossimo livelli 79 sarà impegnativa e potrebbe forse essere raggiunto sempre entro la fine di questo anno (non conosco bene i dati per poterlo affermare con certezza).
Un piccolo motivo d'orgoglio personale.
