Finally, I could figure out how to start building the city and how I an buy the resources.
Last week, when I tried to purchase few workers and building, I just used bid option and this week when I saw, those bids weren't fulfilled yet and then I started checking other options and found that, I need to use Buy option instead of bid and that worked and I could buy few workers, brought a barber shop, brought a park and a forest as well.
I see that, the items under City now turned into green eventhough not all of those and yes, I will try to find out on those and will explore the options further.

As you can see from the above screenshot, I now have a park, a forest and 6 workers and I am still maintaining that 1million SIM tokens as I do not want to go below that to avoid getting issues with the average 1 million tokens.
So, these buildings and workers are important part of the city building.
But, I still need to figure out how to work on the tax part and how to start earning SIM from the reward pool.
I will try to explore on that from now onwards.

My current stats for rankings are as above, I am 673 in income with Zero income yet, 2082 in population again with Zero income, 1453 in popularity, 1295 in education (yes, I need to build or buy some resources with regards to this), 1240 in creativity all because of Zero SIM as rewards I guess and my immediate task is to improve all these things.
So, those 6 workers and purchase of 2 different buildings aren't earning any SIM yet for me.
The SIM token credit status is improving day by day and I crossed the half million credit status with a total of 571828 SIM tokens credited to me as of today which is more than 50% of my SIM millionaire status and I will have to wait for more than a week to realize the remaining 50% tokens before I could ask for a millionaire status.
In the mean time, I will have to work on points I mentioned above in order to start earning SIM tokens from the game as that is also an important aspect of the game to earn SIM in order to keep the progress with my 1 million SIM.
I think exploring and reducing the tax part is one major point I have to think of and that needs immediate attention.
I am also looking forward to interact with other players of the dCity in order to learn from them, I think the guides available in the dcity.io are excellent and provide information on all the different aspects of the game, but, it's better to learn from others in order to save time as going thru all those resources will definitely needs time to explore everything.
I am happy that, I could return to regular blogging and dCity is also an opportunity for me as that gives an option for me to write atleast once in a week to write about my progress of the game and an rewards earning option I will say.

Welcome! I would recommend next a casino and perhaps a few policeman. Its not clear to me at this scale if its worth it to target Law Firm (maybe put in a bid, which still counts for Sim Power), or just more citizens (like Policeman).
