Wishing you all great Monday and a good week ahead.

We have a new Splinterlands challenge for the Community Engagement Challenge with this week's theme is about deck building, battle strategy, earning rewards, managing collection and navigating the in-game economy.

Here I am sharing a battle strategy and building deck for a battle involving Noxious Fumes battle rule set, where in, all the monsters will start with poisoned before the battle starts.

So, here I have shared the screenshot from the battle and also the link to the battle to verify the strategy details.

The Noxious Fumes battles need monsters which have immunity ability as that will protect the monsters from poison and monsters which are self healing or tank healers or even those with scavenger ability will also help as those will keep adding the health when a monster dies.

It also helps if we can use a monster which can stop the healing if any the opponent's monsters are with usage of a monster with affliction as that stops the healing.

The battle had 25 MANA cap and had super sneak and healed out as other rule sets apart from noxious fumes and that prompted me to use couple of immunity ability monsters in Forgotten One and Drybone Hobgoblin and a scavenger ability monster in Antoid Platoon and an affliction ability monster in Doctor Blight.

Let me provide more details on why I used these monsters as in my lineup as per the strategy for noxious fumes rule set.

Lineup:

1. Antoid Platoon:

With the noxious fumes and Super sneak rule sets on, I felt this is the best monster from front position, as it can keep on adding a health when a monster dies and we do expect the monsters to die from round 1 itself as the MANA cap is less and that leads to addition of monsters with less health.

2. Drybone Hobgoblin:

Drybone Hobgoblin was added in Second position as it is a reach ability monster and also a monster with immunity ability which will protect it from poison and it can stay longer in the battle.

3. Doctor Blight:

Doctor Blight is like an allrounder, as he can scavenge, he stops healing on opponent's monsters, he even poisons and is camouflaged to not get hit until he is in First position.

He will be particularly useful in this lineup to not die early because of noxious fumes and take the battle into opponent by getting it's health reinforced due to scavenger ability.

4. Forgotten One:

I always feel safe with this monster for the noxious fumes rule set as this guy can takeout the melee monsters with it's retaliate ability when he gets hit and hitting back.

In this battle, as we also have super sneak on, he can be a handy customer to take on all those melee attack monsters opponent had included.

5. Scorch Fiend:

Lastly, I included this Zero MANA cost monster just to avoid Forgotten One getting hit early as this would have died anyway after round 1 with noxious fumes on.

Those monsters were able to get a win for me, especially the combination of Doctor Blight and Antoid Platoon with the scavenger ability, survived the battle and Doctor Blight survived till the end to hit final blow on opponent's Forgotten One and win this One for me.

It re-iterates again that, scavenger ability monsters play equal role along with immunity ones and will be the best bets in noxious fumes battles.

Here I share few screenshots from the battle.

That's how the battle go with this rule set I was trying to explain and clearly, we can see the immunity and scavenger ability monsters can ensure us win in most of the battle when noxious fumes rule set we have in a battle and I hope you like the strategy used in this battle to win it and hopeful it helps you to build a lineup to win battles when you have the same rule set.

Thanks and Have a good day :)
