Hello Friends,
Source
How's your Saturday going on? I am posting on Hive after a gap of 2 days as I got to busy with my corporate work, but I can't stay away from Hive, Splinterlands and all for longer time!!
Here I am sharing another battle for the Social Media challenge for this week!!!
The battles I share for these challenges always share something strategic and in this battle too, I would like to share some strategy for the always invincible Super 3 of Water splinter plus the neutral monster of Uraeus as I explain further below.
Battle and Lineup:
https://splinterlands.com/battle/sl_8002d34d0f09c2e2652b0db9f11d46ae?ref=coolguy123
As I said above, this battle is building a strategy against Super 3 of Water splinter i.e. Diemonshark, Deeplurker and Pelacor Bandit along with neutral monster of Uraeus.
I am sure you might have encountered these 4 monsters in same battle umpteen times, me too..
So, this strategy I used, worked well for me to defeat the guys I mentioned and I would like to share that, this battle I am sharing was with 28 MANA cap and couple of rules in the form of armored up (all monsters with 2 armors) and deflection field (all monsters start with reflection field ability) and since the MANA cap was medium, and I felt Green splinter with magic monsters with Obsidian as summoner will be a good one to use as there are armors for all the monsters.
With that thing in mind, I used the lineup which I want to highlight as below to win this battle and defeat those 4 monsters which have been my nemesis for me for long time!!!
Lineup:
1. Pelacor Mercenary:
Front monster is always key in any battle we fight on Splinterlands and for this battle, I selected Pelacor Mercenary as my front monster as it is a tank heal monster and also has retaliate ability and can tackle melee attack monsters.
With armors on, it will have that additional protection against melee and ranged attack monsters.
2. Fungus Flinger:
Ever since I got this monster maxed out, I have been using this regularly as it is with martyr ability which gives additional stats to adjacent monsters and it is also capable of delivering 2 ranged attack for the cost of 3 and more importantly, it is with blindfold ability to blindfold melee and ranged attack monsters from the other side.
3. Madcap Magus:
This life leech ability monster is also with scatter shot attack and can be a dangerous one as it keeps gaining health and each of those scatter shots along with afflict ability, can disarray the monsters on other side.
4. Doctor Blight:
Another monster which keeps gaining health but this is with other health gaining ability that is scavenger ability and this is also with afflict ability and can even throw poison with each attack and it is a camouflage ability one too.
5. Djinn Biljka:
Another magic attack monster with camouflage ability and it is even with weaken ability to reduce the health by 1 from enemy's monsters.
More importantly, it gives 3 magic attack for the cost of 3!!!
6. Spirit Hoarder:
Last monster in my lineup is another blindfold ability one, which also provides 2 magic attack, can help regain health for ally monsters with triage ability and also it is with dispel ability
So, to tame those water splinter monsters, I used this stream of magic monsters and the monster of Pelacor Mercenary.
The battle started with Uraeus and Pelacor Bandit removing the Spirit Hoarder even it could attack once, but, after that, it was the magic monsters from my side along with Pelacor Bandit who kept on removing the monsters from opponent.
here I share few screenshots from the battle.
Thanks guys, this is all I wanted to write in this Splinterlands related blog, it's been a good one and I hope you like it.
Thanks and Have a good day :)

Your cards look great at max level. It's fantastic how Madcap Magus increased his stats and advanced to the first position, I really like these card.
Yes, Madcap Magus is a nice card and it's Life Leech ability combined with poison and scatter shot makes it One of the must have cards.
Sadly it's a soul bound card from Chaos Legion edition and might cost you bit more as some cost involved to unbound it.
I always use that and Doctor Blight in combo and both will win me matches most of the time.
Whenever we have reverse speed ruleset, I use these 2 along with Djinn Biljka and bet me, those will win matches atleast 95% of the time if not 100% :)
