Splinterlands - Social Media Challenge - Battle of Archers

BTC at all time high, Trump is back as US President and Hive has also seen some good move this week and our very own SPS has also touched 1 cent mark!!!!

It's all happening here in Crypto World and Splinterlands is not lagging behind whether in sale of promo cards or surprises such as recently introduced Free2Earn things!!!

Whatever it is, everything is good and booming and many say the alt season started and hopefully, we will see many new heights for our favorite alt coins and I would like to share in this blog a battle of archers, yes, the battle of ranged attack monsters as I explain further here.

Battle and Lineup:

The battle I selected for sharing here is a battle of ranged attack monsters as this battle had a ruleset of Going the distance with only ranged attack monsters (and monsters with ranged attack and other attack combo as well) allowed to be used in the battle.

The battle also had Odd man out ruleset with only odd MANA cost monsters allowed to be used in the battle which had 49 MANA cap and I felt, Dragon summoner of Quix The Devious and ofcourse, even the opponent used the same but the splinter we selected were different as I selected Fire splinter and selected Death splinter.

The lineups was as below:

Lineup:

1. Molten Ash Golem:

Being the close range ability monster, this was my choice for the front position with it's 3 ranged attack, good health of 10.

2. Naga Assassin:

Many battles I lost just because of this monster in my opposite lineup as it has that ability of backfire when a monster fails to attack it and I decided I will use it and if couple of attacks on it are missed, then it backfires and that should be a good One to keep the monsters to follow alive as much as possible.

3. Drybone Raider:

Used this for it's 2 ranged attack 2 times in each round and besides that, it can remove the armors of the monster it attacks with it's shatter ability and not to forget that, it can also attack with 2 melee attacks in a burst of 2 in each round.

4. Supply Runner:

Supply runner with swift ability to increase the speed by 1 for all ally monsters and it also gives 3 ranged attack and can strengthen the monsters by increasing health by 1.

5. Countess Sinash:

The next monster I used is this Countess Sinash because of it's good speed, 4 ranged attack and more importantly, it's camouflage monster and will not be available for attack until it moves into First position.

6. Tinderlock:

Last One on my lineup is this last stand ability monster of Tinderlock and this being an ability to close range to attack from front position.

The battle was fought for 5 rounds but it was a good win for me as opponent has good monsters, but monsters used by me were better and as I expected, Naga Assassin did a good job to avoid few attacks on it and helped me win the battle easily.

Here I am sharing few screenshots from the battle with each monster's removal is captured in these screenshots.

So the experience of using the summoner from Dragon splinter with Quix The Devious was good and it was a nice win for me. The increase in speed with 2 monsters having swift ability was also good to attack First in each round and lack of close range ability monsters was also a helping point for me.

We are ready for the Community Engagement Challenge and hopefully, we will have another interesting topic to write about.
