RE: Why I voted no for the Conclave Arcane Card Set Proposal: New use cases for Old cards should be the priority! (ENG/ITA)

Exactly, it's just insane how old cards basically get deleted entirely from the game. Aside from any earnings, it always should be possible to still have fun with all the cards that you own, their values should not trend toward the DEC Burn value which is just 0.04$ for most packs that cost 4$, and it should be possible to rent them out.

because of that I only get attached to the cards I use in the game
This indeed, I want to love the cards that I own but it's impossible right now.

Do you actually manage not to get crushed by always swapping cards that move out of modern for the new ones? I have luckily always focused on buying cards off the market not playing into the entire pack buying and modern mode. I do feel many that still bought Rebellion will now skip the new set and I can't see many new players coming in unless there is a big green candle and some hype first.

I'm also voting no on this endless new card printing nonsense while old cards keep getting devalued.

I fear Matt means Land when he's talking about innovative ways to give old cards value again which I fear won't do much.

I'm glad we feel the same way.

Beyond the market value of the cards, the paradox is not being able to use the cards for fun, and this is in my opinion the main cause of the loss of value of the cards.
Those who get attached to the cards are real players and not bots but Splinterlands continues to protect bots more than real players but in this way it hurts itself because who would want to buy cards that they can use in game for a limited time?
