Dear @miti
One of those posts, which surely are worth checking out and reading through.
I wish to understand why team behind blurt decided to promote their product with all those 1:1 airdrops. It will be so difficult for them in the future to limit selling pressure.
I understand that aidrops are some sort of marketing promotion. But for most people it's nothing but free money. Somehow I'm having very little confidence in this product - simply because of all those airdrops.
Even if only 10% users would decide to dump blurt - it will require enormous amount of funds for them to keep up price on stable level. It's huge mistake in my opinion. One that will potentially be the reason why this token will not be able to hold value.
With regard to the elimination of downvote,
Surely downvotes are not perfect and using them is causing serious issues. However it's still the ONLY tool to fight abuse that has been delivered to public. If they will remove it, without providing anything in return - then milking of this chain will be insane.
ps. do you use discord?

Okay, I see your point and I agree with that. Besides, I don't think Blurt can generate interest as well as HIVE because all the big names are in the latter. And that's why I also think Blurt token will not be able to hold value.
Downvotes is indispensable part of this kind of blockchain and there's no reason to think otherwise.
Yes, I use discord: miti#1563
Unfortunately, I fully agree with you @miti. I also think their airdrop policy is going to be the reason why we will witness huge dump from the very beginning. I wish to were wrong, however I expect that Blurt will be dead before end of 2020.
Yours,
Piotr
