The splinterlands season just concluded and we are already into new season and we have the splinterlands challenges also ready for this week.
I am writing this blog for the social media challenge and writing about a battle I thought of sharing which is with noxious fumes ruleset in which, all the monsters will start with poison applied and there are options to get out of the poison state.
Noxious fumes applies poison to all the monsters even before the battle starts and monsters which have immunity ability, will not be having poison.
If a monster is resurrected or cleansed, then also poison will be removed and once cleansed or resurrected, there is no chance of getting poison again from noxious fumes ruleset, but, if a monster with affliction ruleset attacks with poison applied, then there is a chance of getting poison again.

In this battle, there was just one ruleset which is noxious fumes and 40 mana cost was there for the battle.
I now mostly used monsters which enable bloodlust and for this battle, i used life splinter and monsters i used are as below.
- Drybone barbarian:
This monster is with nice health and has rage ability to have increased speed and attack, so, i felt this is good to get some monsters removed before it dies.
- Marisol contuma:
Since i used a summoner with bloodlust enabled, i used this monster with 5 attack 5 speed and 8 health with 4 armors and bloodlust will make it even more increased in stats if it can get a monster removed.
- Venari marksrat:
Since this will help adjacent monsters gain increased stats when it dies, i thought of using it to get the adjacent monsters, marisol contuma and imperial knight to have more attack and speed.
- Imperial knight:
Since this battle has noxious fumes, i thought a monster with healing ability will be good and i placed it in this position, so that, it can be alive and opponent's monster might get into lower health by the time it comes into first position.
- Venari crystalsmith:
This is the tank healer for this battle and although it as just 5 health and may survive only 3 rounds, if it can heal the front monster in those 3 rounds and that helps in removing few of opponent's monsters, then there is more chance of me winning the battle.
- Vulguine:
Lastly, i placed this scavenger ability monster hoping that, it will keep on increasing it's health and stays alive till end.
The battle was fought for 4 rounds and drybone barbarian surviving till round 3 and removed 2 monsters that helped to win the battle.
The marisol contuma also helped in removing 1 monster and opponent's use of a taunt ability monster didn't disturb my lineup much and i was able to win it comfortably with 2 monsters were alive by the time battle ended.
These rulesets like noxious fumes tests one's ability to build strategy and an immunity monster like quora towershead may help but, more mana cost limit means, there are chances of opponent using high attack monsters and quora most of the time doesn't survive such battles.
