The benefits of being active on hive blockchain are many. I started blogging due to some free time and i could see that i can earn a decent amount of hbd from just 2 blogs per week and i have got about 6.5 hbd from last 2 weeks blogging and thought of increasing my sps stake as that is the only way to get better rewards from daily battles i do.
So, without thinking much i just converted the hbd to hive and then to sps and staked it back on splinterlands to increase my stake.
So, here are the steps i followed and increased the sps i have.
Transferred the 7.702 HBD i earned from blogging on splinterlands community challenges into my hive-engine account to get it converted to the hive as we need to convert any token to have first before purchasing other native tokens.
So, the hbd was converted to the highest hbd purchase bid value of 5.30000045 hive per hbd as in above screenshot to get 35.25419849 hive which is a good amount for my blogging activity and i am happy that, i could get some money moving into sps buying and increasing sps to get more glint per win from battle wins and also the sps from the same.
HBD was converted to hive and now hive is converted to sps by selling hive to purchase sps.
So, my 35.25420090 hive was worth 740.43272032 sps tokens which is not bad considering my current staked sps of 5904.397 as of now and this 740+ sps will be almost 12% of what i have currently and every 2 weeks if i can stake about 750 sps hoping the sps rate will not fluctuate much, i should reach about 10 sps by year end and that is some decent staked sps to earn better rewards from my splinterlands battles wins and that also means, i will earn better sps returns from battles and some additional sps from staked sps too.
So, it's like double growth in terms of sps.
The sps i purchased on hive engine was transferred to my splinterlands in game account as we can see from above screenshot.
Moving sps from hive engine to in game is a very east task using the splinterlands website and it's also any commission free from hive engine to splinterlands.
So, the amount of 762.21 sps was initiated to be staked and that also means, my sps boost change for the wild format will also increase from 1.55 times to 1.72 times and even if i can increase to 3 by year end, that will be a good improvement for me to earn improved rewards of Glint and sps from battle wins.
The staked sps of 762.21 has now increased my total stake to 6666.607 sps and a regular staking once in 2 weeks should see me getting into 10K goal by year end considering 4 intervals of 2 weeks till december end which will be an average of 750 sps multiplied by 4 intervals means 3K SPS and some battle rewards sps of around 350 added to that 3K means, i should hit the 10K goal.
I will be really hoping that it happens according to my calculations and reach my goal by december end.
