Prioritizing the improvement of card levels, analyzing and experimenting.

in Olio di Balenalast month

In this first post of the new year my wish is to improve and change in some aspects my priorities in the way I invest in the store and also to create a better plan to compete in the silver and gold league. I have to mention that in the last 3 seasons I spent almost all my rewards on epic cards, because I wanted to get Olivia of the Brook, but it was not possible, so I will rededicate my rewards to common and rare cards to improve the level.

So this time we will talk about how I will invest my rewards, we will also analyze some cards and the advantages they provide us for achieving a higher card level, in addition to observing an experiment or challenge I want to do in the card market.

How I will invest my Glint and the advantage of improving the level.

As you could read in the introductory text, it has been a few seasons in which I have gotten few cards, since most of my spending has been on epic cards (7500 Glint), it is likely that I have spent between 135k or 150k of my Glint, but now I want to use my rewards to get a greater number of common and rare cards, this will make that I can level up many cards.

This will be something that will not take me so long, since I have several cards in levels 3, 4 and 5, besides having several golden cards, I think I have all the cards in these categories (common and rare), so I just need to level them up. Logically, the goal is to accumulate as many cards as possible, but the big advantage is that the cards have better stats and more skills to improve my performance in battles.

Analyzing cards.

There are many cards that considerably improve their stats when you level them up, there are also some that are interesting because they can acquire 2 or 3 skills, so they can cause greater effects in battles.

  • Night Reaper: This epic and magical card of the Dragon element, has many striking features, mainly in its basic level it has two abilities, but by increasing its level it can acquire a third ability. These abilities are Flying (Allows you to dodge direct or ranged attacks more easily), Wingbreak (Always directs your attack to flying cards, also increases damage), and Reflection Shield (Prevents damage from several important abilities). That's why I'm happy to own this special card.

  • Revealer: This death element magic card, even though it is not from the Rebellion edition, is a great example of a balanced card that can be a great addition to the team, and its abilities are quite compatible to nullify opponent's turns and evade effects, since Revealer has the Stun and Immunity abilities. This type of cards can contribute greatly, since the advantages that it provides us are remarkable.

Experimenting with card trading.

Another of the objectives of this year is to keep cards that are compatible in the strategies, therefore it is necessary to buy essential card and increase the level of the other cards in my collection. But because of this, I came up with the idea of trading some cards to get the new cards I want, but I will only use cards from the new editions.

The difficulty of this is due to the commissions to be paid and the time of execution of the trade, although there are people doing this massively, I do not know how profitable it is on a smaller scale, we'll see how profitable it is.
