Welcome to my #saturdaysavers post, it is a club activity where all of us here sharing our saving goals and saving updates. We are entering the month of February 2025 and this is my saving update post for the seventh week. The Lion Attack
If we talk about a Lion Attack, it is not a Lion attacking you or some cats poke at you. It is a name we give to people who make a $LEO Power Up at least 150 $LEO on the 15th of the month. or getting 150 LEO POWER (LP) during the Leo Power Up Day (LPUD). We hold LPUD every 15th of the mont.
I did not have 150 $LEO earlier so I needed to get some first. I am not in good health today so I will do the most simple one, which is swapping $SWAP.HIVE to $LEO in Hive Engine. I get 109 $LEO at the cost of 6.379 SWAP.HIVE
Now I have 150.51 liquid $LEO and I can send them all in my staking, which is called as Power Up on HIVE BLOCKCHAIN. And this is how my last $LEO Balance:
I have 1.454 LEO POWER now. Last year I had a plan to get 2.000 LEO POWER but those plan changed because I set HBD as my new goals. So I am lack of 546 LEO POWER now to achieve my next milestone which is 2.000 LEO POWER.
This is not easy, next month I might have to buy $LEO more to get enough 150 $LEO to run another Lion Attack. But that's next month problem, today It is about what my saving is.
Now let's see my saving update here..
PRIMARY TARGET : HBD SAVING
My primary goal is to grow my $HBD Saving, to reach 5.000 $HBD Saving in this year, 2025. That is an ambitious target regarding I started 2025 with 0 $HBD. Mathematically this means I need to get $95 HBD every week.
I have reached 107 $HBD saving this week. It is still far, very far from my annual goal which is 5.000 HBD. I have to get 4.993 which is impossible to get it relying on organic author rewards only.
Everything can be achieve step by step. If my first step, or first milestone is getting 100 HBD in my saving, the secondary milestone should be getting 500 HBD first. So as I have said last week, this is why it is somhow became a contest on how fast or how quick I get 400 HBD.
I added 2 $HBD savings this week. Yes it is 2 $HBD and I know well that number is way too small. But it is still better than getting nothing, big 0. I do not do anything last week, including not making any post so yeah, literally my author rewards are very bad right now.
Still.. Small growth, simple tiny step is still a lot better than getting nothing, and making excuse for small growth.
SECONDARY TARGET : HIVE POWER (HP)
Hive Power (HP) is very important for all Hivers who plan to stay long on this blockchain. For 2025, my secondary goal is to have 13.500 Hive Power (HP). It's not a big target and I want to make as many people realize that it is important to grow your Hive Power.
I have reached 10.562 HP on this week, so I have around 2.938 HP left to achieve if I want to reach my 2025 secondary goal here. My recap for 2025 secondary saving target update is here:
I think 18 HP growth a week is my record for being small and pathetic growth in the last couple of years. I can not blame anyone else here, I really do not have any time to make any good posts on HIVE.
My health has been dropping due to fatigue, but it has got better since yesterday. I still have my eye on my annual Hive Power target which is 13.500 HP. I am still optimistic about it, it is very doable in this conditon and yes I will definitely reach that number later this year.
