Too often, when some individuals grab what they want or want they have always wanted, their shoulder immediately goes way up because they feel like they run and own the world already.
There is nothing as good as being humble, whether you are rich or poor. Even the holy scriptures scream humility every time. Being humble and having humility even opens up more opportunities. What we don’t know as humans is that people see us; people see through us. Being humble creates a positive and compassionate world. Even God doesn’t like people who are proud.
Once some individuals start making money or have that upper power to control things, they instantly start treating others like they’re not humans.
I experienced something some time ago with a friend at a fashion store. I needed to get an outfit for my birthday dinner as I entered this lady’s store, bought a cloth that I liked, I saw a shoe I liked, I asked her for the price and she told me in a rude tone that “ you can’t afford it” I and my friend was so dumbfounded and we couldn’t speak for few minutes. The thing is even before I bought anything when we entered the store the energy she gave was so off and I saw her as someone who looked down on people even before she talked to us about that matter. That is why I mentioned earlier that people see through us. I didn’t know this lady beforehand but with the way she was doing, I already sensed the kind of person she is.
Humility is key to be honest, being proud will not take us humans anywhere. Be humble and kind irrespective of who you’re dealing with. It could be family members, workers, anybody at all. Just be humble irrespective of anyone’s situation and status.
Humility is so important, it brings nothing but compassion and empathy. Humility also helps people without even expecting anything in return.
As we all know, we are in a world that is obsessed with self-promotion and competition, humility can be taken as a weakness for some people but it is not a weakness. However, humility and being humble as humans allow us to face challenges with grace, build strong and lasting relationships, and find fulfillment in serving others.
In conclusion, I want us to embrace humility and be humble more as humility creates a more positive and compassionate world. It promotes genuine connections and inspires others to live with greater purpose and meaning. Humility is not a sign of weakness, but a reflection of strength of character. Let’s be more kind and humble!
