I was conversing with one of my friends today and this guy kept saying that 20 million naira is nothing. At first, I did not take it seriously because I believed that we had different views about money but as the conversation went on. I was beginning to listen to his view, and I realized that he wasn’t talking from the point that he had handled the money, he was talking from the point of what he sees online and what he has been listening to but the truth is that most people are in this category. They will tell you that one money is small but in the end, they don’t even have that money in their account, They have not experienced what it truly means to manage such money.

Most people are living life and they are not even living their truth. Social media has made them believe that the sum of 20 million naira is a small money meanwhile they have not even worked to have such money and still condemning. Social media makes them believe so many things that aren’t right just because they spend so much time on screen and listen to a lot of dumb people online, That’s why we believe that such money is small but to be realistic this is the main reason why most people feel poor even when they are still doing well for themselves.

Most people still feel as if they are not doing enough, but the real truth is that they are better than 50% of people just that social media made them believe otherwise

Most people live believing that they don’t have enough money. They see a lot of rich people flaunting money online, going on vacations, buying new houses and new cars. Some of these beliefs make us ungrateful, we believe that we are not doing enough even when we are better than 70% of people in our society. We are constantly being pressured Online and this makes it look like everybody around us is better and we are wasting away.

This also has a lot to do with how we see goals. When we set goals and after we achieve them, we don’t feel the excitement of achieving them, and this is a result of the pressure we are putting on ourselves and also the pressure we are allowing social media or external factors to put on us. I have a friend who makes more than two millionaires every month and this guy still complained he doesn’t have anything, he feels is not doing enough meanwhile 90% of the population doesn’t even make 2 million naira a month.

Get your mind right

Whether we like it or not, as a human being we can never be satisfied but this doesn’t have anything to do with us not feeling good about ourselves. We must be able to feel good about ourselves and the easiest way to do that is to guide our minds and not let anybody put useless narratives in our heads that we are not even doing enough. The way to know is when you check the data You realize that you are doing fine but you can still do better. it is crazy how we let the Internet fuck with our minds and let us believe good is not enough.

Many people go around every day without happiness, They believe what they have is small and that they should be doing better and they are not enjoying the process. They have allowed stupid narratives to creep into their mind even when they are doing great and breaking goals and achieving great things in life they are still very sad and not happy. They are not even enjoying what they are doing and this is because good is not enough. I’m not trying to say you should settle for less, what I’m trying to say is that even when you are still struggling find a way to enjoy the process and not let anything corrupt your mind that the money that you have not handled before is Small. Life is a process and we must be able to enjoy the process because every little thing matters.

Thanks for your time.

I have seen many people who want to achieve their goal but they don't want to go with the process , like I mean to say if u really want things then start enjoying the process and do the work with great intentions and u will get to your goal.

So 20 million naira is nothing to him and he doesn't have the money with him? That's unbelievable lol.

Person wey dey mad, people are just delulu in this generation

Tell them to focus less on Twitter and Facebook and work harder to see whether the money is easy to get.
