I have a friend who used to work from 9 AM to 10 PM and when he was sharing his experience with me today. He said no matter how big a salary is, if is going to take all this time like his previous job, he’s not going to do it. I asked him why, and he said while he was doing his previous job he could not focus on any other thing even though the salary was good but nothing worth taking all your time without little time for yourself. My friend also works during the weekend so he doesn’t have time. He’s always at work doing one thing or another, he also agreed with the management from the start, not something that he could change.
Most people are always like this when they are seeking a job. We always consider salary first because that’s what matters especially for someone who is looking for money desperately, you are looking for things that can sustain you and will be able to help with all your expenses. When people are looking for a job, the only thing they care about is high-paying jobs and some of these jobs come at the detriment of their time and health, as long as it pays well, it is fine. This is not the only thing we should consider when we are looking for financial freedom.
Higher pay doesn't always lead to financial freedom
Some higher-paying jobs are not designed for you to be financially free and in foreign countries, some high-paying jobs attract more tax which is not always good but people don’t always consider this at first not until they are doing the job. This is the kind of job that on paper you are being paid well but in reality, it only covers your expenses, It is not designed for you to be financially free. This kind of job is a trap that is why people end up leaving them at the end of the day. We have some jobs that are designed in a way that you shouldn’t have time for your family and yourself which are most important
In the case of my friend, he was paid well, and tax was not the problem but the job is designed for those who don’t care about their family, friends, and themselves. My friend couldn’t cope and was forced to leave the job and from his experience, he will never do that kind of job again no matter the salary, most time people often learn the hard way. Some jobs are very good even with them paying a moderate salary because you’re not going to pay too much tax and you also have time for yourself to do other things and while you are doing the job You can also learn skills that can be good for your future.
it’s not always about the money sometimes it’s always about what you can gain
Any job that deprives you of existing well should not be considered at all, but people often go for such jobs based on desperation. Most people are desperate when they are seeking jobs and why they will do anything that is offered to them, especially if the salary is high. Sometimes high salary can be trapped if you don’t think about it well. Some of these jobs are also designed for you to be stagnant without moving or growing in life. Any job we are doing must be able to make us financially free and also not deprive us of anything.
Thanks for your time.

Great topic. Working all day is alienating, but there are situations in which a person cannot choose. There are economic conditions that necessarily require working all day.
