The middle

I remember when I was growing up, most families around the environment I grew up in were not rich, They are just an average family and they’re doing well for themselves. Most of the average family I call the middle-class family was able to build a house. A lot of people were complaining then but things were much better because as a middle class, you can still provide for your family comfortably and send your children to a good school. The middle class was so much in Nigeria when I was growing up, people were not very rich but they were comfortable.

If we look at the present situation of the country we realize that the middle class are reducing every day and is now getting to a point where having a middle class in the country seems like impossible things to find. Before, you could find a middle class in every part of the country but it takes the grace of God to find now. The middle class is reducing yearly. I think this is where we are getting it wrong because according to research for a society to fully develop and for the economy to be good, you need the middle class to function properly and this is where we are getting it wrong in Africa, especially in Nigeria.

It is all gone

We are at the point where I can confidently say that we have a large population which are living in extreme poverty, and a very small population is rich. The middle-class family is almost gone in Nigeria. It is very difficult to find in the middle class now, and this is the problem of the country. This is why our economy is growing bad every day and the government is not doing anything to fight against this problem, and this is now getting out of hand. Most people are being dragged into poverty every year because the currency is not also helping.

No amount of money you earn now as long as you are collecting it in naira, you will barely survive with it, and people are dragged into poverty every year. not only that, there is an increase in the price of everything and the government is not doing anything to regulate it, which is why the rich keep getting richer and why the poor keep getting poorer, we have having growing population of poor people in the country. We have a smaller population of the middle class, which is why the country is not functioning properly and if it should continue like This, I won’t be surprised if something drastic happens in the country.

Is there a way out?

I don’t blame people who move out of the country because they want to go to a country with a better economy, even if they are going to work twice as hard in another man’s country is better than our country where nothing is guaranteed that’s why I’ve been asking my questions Like, is there anything we can do about it? If the government is ready, it might take time but with good intentions and determination to change, things will get better.

The obvious solution is you to save a good amount of money together and just leave the country because you don’t start the problem of our country and you cannot end it. It’s only the government that can solve the problem but they are less concerned about it. We need the middle class, but they are going extinct in Nigeria and if you cannot fix this, it will only get worse.

Hello sir do u use discord channels or not??

I think this is the case with many parts of the world, the middle class has been evaporated lol. Now we're in either or situation, rich or poor. And the gap between the two seems to be widening with each passing day.
