The process

It is interesting how we can long for something, and once we finally achieve it, it quickly feels normal. We then begin to long for something else. This tendency can apply to any goal we set. Many people work hard to achieve their goals, and yet, when they finally succeed, it can feel as if they haven't accomplished anything significant. While achieving the goal may bring a moment of happiness, that feeling often fades quickly. On the other hand, if someone does not achieve their goal, they may see themselves as a failure. I have come to realize that this is a common experience among many people.

Nothing is ever as good as it seems, and nothing is ever as bad as it seems. This is because, when you’re not in a particular situation, it's easy to believe that what you desire will fulfill you. For instance, you might think that buying a private jet will make you incredibly happy. While it's true that you may experience joy for a few days, that feeling will fade, and soon you’ll realize that you want something more. This is why the wealthiest individuals, those in the top one percent, continue to seek more wealth even after acquiring everything they thought they wanted. There will always be another goal to achieve, and this pursuit will likely remain with them throughout their lives.

Even the human soul is insatiable.

This applies to goal-oriented individuals. They connect their happiness to their goals and achievements, so when they encounter difficulties in reaching a goal or completing a task, they often feel sad. This mindset is common in today's world, where, regardless of what one already has, there is always pressure to pursue more. These individuals tend to experience short-lived happiness that only lasts until they reach a goal, shortly after, they find themselves struggling with the next one, which leads to feelings of sadness.

This is how most people live their lives. They find it difficult to enjoy the process, and some of them even have valuable things that their achievements cannot buy things like good health and good relationships, but they don’t value them. They are hard on themselves and are always focused on the next goal they are going to achieve not until they lose their friendship or something happens to their health when they realize how valuable all the small things are to them and no amount of money or achievement can let us stopped I believe it is in our DNA.

It is enough

I believe one of the keys to Happiness is knowing when to stop and also knowing that in the process, your happiness should not be tied to your goals alone, we should give room for other things to make us happy and this is the only way we can enjoy the process so that we won’t grow old and regretting that we don’t give ourselves a chance to live rather than just existing. It is important to set goals and keep chasing our dreams but it is also important not to tie our happiness to it.

Thanks for your time.

i think there is no universal recipe for happiness, but what's obvious is that f u keep wanting more of whatsoever after u got more than enough- then u will never b happy- so it's all about balance!.
