L'alabastro
Nel post di ieri ho parlato un poco della etrusca città di Volterra. Ho fatto una panoramica dei paesaggi meravigliosi che vi sono nei dintorni, anche se il mio pensiero ritornava sempre al mare e dove mi giravo giravo pensavo, magari si potesse vedere il mare. Purtroppo il mare è il mio punto debole...
Indipendentemente dal fatto che in questa città si ritrovino reperti etruschi e romani, la cosa che più mi ha incuriosito è stata la lavorazione dell'alabastro. Infatti l’alabastro è un materiale unico per le migliaia di tonalità che assume in base alla presenza nel terreno di ferro e minerali. Le botteghe del territorio si distinguono ancora oggi perché rispettano gli antichi principi della lavorazione manuale. La Toscana, fiera di questa arte, è uno dei pochi luoghi dove la passione dà vita a elaborati noti a tutto il mondo per la loro perfezione e raffinatezza.
Ho scoperto che l’artigiano, al quale spetta il compito di rifinire il blocco di alabastro, si chiama ornatista e lavora il materiale con particolare cura e deve conoscere a fondo le caratteristiche di questa pietra. Infatti non deve essere solo abile nel maneggiare gli strumenti del mestiere, ma deve anche avere nozioni di chimica.
La città di Volterra è rinomata da secoli per la sua lavorazione, infatti l'alabastro è stato utilizzato, sin dagli Etruschi, per decorare le città. La sua caratteristica principale è la sua luminosità, la sua purezza simile al marmo; questo materiale è ancora oggi lavorato a mano con estrema cura ed anche esso, come il marmo, si estrae dalle “cave”.
Il regalo
Ho allegato al post le foto della lampada di cui mi sono innamorata; è stato un regalo del compagno della mia amica. Un pensiero dolce quanto inaspettato, ha insistito tantissimo e senza una motivazione particolare, solo perché gli faceva piacere. Io e mio marito siamo rimasti piacevolmente colpiti. Amicizie così sono rare, e per di più mi mette di buon umore vedere la lampada che acquista colori differenti in base alla luce interna. Non so quanto tempo siamo stati nel negozio per scegliere le sfumature e le venature della pietra, ed alla fine abbiamo scelto quella che piaceva a tutti e quattro. Sono quei momenti che ti riconciliano col mondo...insieme al casino che abbiamo combinato nel negozio... Posso solo augurarmi che ci possiamo rivedere presto, purtroppo quando c'è il capo questo mio amico è totalmente assorbito dal lavoro, addirittura prima di venire in Italia questo magnate è stato a cena con Trump

The city of Volterra has been renowned for centuries for its processing, in fact alabaster has been used, since the Etruscans, to decorate cities. Its main feature is its brightness, its purity similar to marble; this material is still worked by hand with extreme care and it too, like marble, is extracted from the "quarries".
The present
I have attached to the post the photos of the lamp with which I fell in love; it was a gift from my friend's companion. A sweet as unexpected thought, he insisted a lot and without a particular motivation, just because it pleased him. My husband and I were pleasantly impressed. Friendships are so rare, and moreover it puts me in a good mood to see the lamp that acquires different colors based on the internal light. I don't know how long we were in the shop to choose the shades and veins of the stone, and in the end we chose the one that all four liked. Those are the moments that reconcile you with the world ... together with the mess that we have combined in the shop ... I can only hope that we can see each other again soon, unfortunately when there is the boss this friend of mine is totally absorbed by work, even before coming to Italy this tycoon was at dinner with Trump as it moves the country's economy as I explained in the @actifit post! As they say, there are those who can and those who cannot ... he can!

io lo preferisco di colore blu davvero bellissimo elikast
In effetti l'utilizzo di una lampadina RGB ti modula la luce in base ai tuoi gusti e in base all'occorrenza, io invece ho un debole per il color lavanda, ma cambiarli mi fa piacere!
