Gaming is such a big segment of the crypto market. It's not just crypto because it is a big industry apart from web3 gaming. I thought that Crypto was all about coins and choosing different projects for trading and investing. After going through this gaming segment deeper I have got more insights about it.
Recently I read a few blogs by @mango-juice who has been talking about moonkarts games. I started with the splinterlands game recently and my mentor bravetofu is a great help to me in this game. Now I also want to get started with another game and this is moonkarts. @mango-juice has created tutorial blogs in a series that can be a good help for any newbie.
I have signed up for Moonkarts Game
So I have signed now. I thought that I needed to create an account but not really. I could use my hive account to log in. I just need to provide my email address and verify this. There was an option to use a keychain application for the login confirmation. I feel like it is an integrated system where the same credentials are used across projects. At least with these splinterlands, I know it works but I had no idea if this is the same for Moonkart also.
I'll be figuring out different options in the game. Although I have checked some details about the game it is a racing game. I have played a few racing games on my mobile phone but it's been a long time. I liked playing car racing games when I was a gamer but its an old story. I never got anything out of that game but it was entertaining and similar to that game I had a few others. There was a time when I was playing Temple Run a lot and on a similar theme, there were some other games.
MOONKARTS is part of splinterlands
I had no idea that this game is part of the splinterlands gaming ecosystem. When I was checking the market pays on the game website I could see splinterlands. You can see it below on the game where you can select moonkarts or splinterlands. This is why many things are similar where you can see regular or gold foil. This is a very common option available in the sprinterlands game.
The same options are also available in rarity which I know in these splinterlands nft card games. I believe that because I'm already part of the splinterlands games it is going to be easy learning for me.
This page interface is also similar where you can see the card details along with sellers who have listed it for the sale. The same page opens when you check out the Splinterlands game cards page. Now I am excited because most of the things are common between both the games. As I said that a few tutorial blogs I have already read but still there are some that I need to read.
4 games under One Roof
This is an interesting place where you can see four games. Now I can say that officially I am part of the first two games and remaining two I still need to figure out. With splinterlands, I have already played many battles and also invested in some digital assets. For the moon, I need to find out the assets where I can invest but it is going to take some time. I believe that there is no hurry rather it's good to learn first.
I'm reading a lot about the game but still, some questions are not answered. I need not worry about splinterlands because I have a mentor who knows everything about them. I will see if I can get in touch with Mango through Dm and he can guide me. It would be very helpful for me to learn this game faster but for now, I am excited and happy that I joined this game.
Before joining or signing up for this game I tried to check with Mango if there was any affiliated link similar to splinterland. He denied so I joined directly and also I could not find any options on the website. I think that the game should have this option where bringing new people into the game will get some reward to the referrer. Maybe this will be available soon or not that I don't know.
