I think we've created this privilege for ourselves, as early adopters who kept learning. And it is a privilege compared to people who are on the sidelines and still look at crypto with distrust, because we have a good head start. But as you said about the early bitcoiners, they may have lost the big opportunities they had by not understanding where this would go. And we don't have to judge them harshly, we have the benefit of the hindsight. We may have done and maybe will do some of their mistakes too. Hopefully not, but who knows?
I feel that even if it seems we're privileged to have all the information we have about crypto I just think that many of us will still manage to mess it up.
It's not really trying to judge, I think I'm just trying to analyze our psychological state of making the right or wrong decisions as humans.
This is why I think the future generations will wish they had the opportunity we currently have, not knowing we also wished to have the opportunity the past generation had.
