The battles in splinterlands allows us to use different monsters from different editions starting with alpha, beta to the recent edition of rebellion.
But, we also have rewards monsters, monsters from promo cards and more importantly, the monsters from guild battles or gladius monsters as we say.
There are very limited monsters from guild and few of those are very aggressive and gets us many wins and some of those if i can say here are quora towershield, katrella gobson, captain katie to name a few which are more popular ones.
Out of these, i prefer to use katrella gobson more often than any other monsters simply because, it gets me more wins and once it starts gaining stats, it simply becomes unstoppable and even quora towershead can't do much as the katrella gobson starts gaining speed and melee attack and being a double attack monster in each round, it almost takes out a monster in each round.
Here I am sharing a battle with it to prove the same.

The battle I am sharing is with just 22 mana cost cap as we can see from above screenshot and involved blast and hive five meaning only five monsters can be used in the battle and i used monsters as below.
Pelacor mercenary:
Being a healing tank, this is my first choice monster from earth splinter.
This monster provides 3 melee attack and is with 10 health and as it can heal itself, unless we have a very huge attack monster, it can survive 2 3 rounds and will help other monsters around it, to keep attacking.
Fungus finger:
Since blast is one of the rulesets, i thought of using this martyr ability monster to help pelacor mercenary and katrella gobson used in next position to gain stats and be even stronger.
Besides the martyr, this monster can also blindfold all the monsters from opponent and increase chances of opponent's monsters missing the attack.
Katrella gobson:
The monster i want to highlight in this battle is this guild monster of katrella gobson as this double attack melee monster is the talk of the town and this monster does it in style and keeps gaining speed, health and attack with each monster removal by her as it is a bloodlust monster and in this battle, he will be even more dangerous as it is a blast ruleset battle.
Battle:
Considering it is a blast battle, we expect to get this battle complete soon and also since this is with 22 mana cost cap as well, the battle got completed in just 3 rounds and katrella gobson removing all the 5 monsters used by opponent including the dangerous coastal sentry.
The battle mainly depicts that, the double attack monsters and that too bloodlust monsters are more useful and also signifies it is always better to use a healing tank at the front to safeguard front position.
