New season already started in splinterlands with new year on as well and it's time to keep battling and keep winning those glint rewards from the battles and spend the same to get some nice cards.
When we go for purchase from store, it is always a dilemma whether to purchase rarity rewards or loot chests.
I always feel there is advantage with loot chests, especially with major loot chests as with those, there are chances of getting legendary monsters cards and also chances of earning energy which will be a major boost.
So, as i had about 20K glint, i wanted to try my luck with loot chests and brought 20 major loot chests with rewards as below.
I was surprised to get so many rare cards thn that one legendary card as you can see here.
There was that legendary sergeant grauzral for sure which is also my first legendary monster from rewards cards from rebellion edition and i am just hoping to get many of those as i will definitely be more active in this new year to spend more time on battles.
Apart from sergeant grauzral, there were many rare cards and energy as well.
Got 3 rare dragon egg forager, 1 rare thunderhoof nomad, 6 common ujurak brave, 3 common halaran huntress, 2 gold foiled rare razorhood, 6 more rare halaran huntress and 1 more rare dragon egg forager as we can see from above one i shared.
So, that means, as many as 7 rare cards out of which, 2 are gold foiled ones, i think those itself got my glint back excluding the legendary sergeant grauzral.
That's 10 of those 20 major loot chests i opened and other 10 are shared below with details of cards, energy and all.
The other were not that significant as we can see here, but still had 1 energy, 2 rare drybone megalodon, some good amount og merits, 5 common ujurak elder and 2 common blackmoor wild elf among the other major ones.
I think the energy also has significant value as each of those energy will cost close to 1200 glint for me for being in gold 1 league in wild format.
So, that itself like 3600 glint back and 2 rare gold foiled would have costed 30K glint as each of those are with 15K cost if i have to purchase.
SO, I would say, buying major loot chests is worth with occasional gold foiled and legendary ones will always cover that and those energy will also be worth the cost we spend.
As we are in first season of the new year, it is always good that we set some goals and try to achieve those and i am planning to increase my sps stake to atleast 30K by year end from my current stake of 18K.
