We have entered in the second month of the year and its 1st day of February so its time to power up Hive and celebrate the HPUD i.e. Hive Power Up Day. Unfortunately Last month I was not able to power up hive on 1st day of year so I missed the one badge of the year. I am late for submitting the post but powered up Hive on time and received the confirmation message form the Hive Buzz also. If do do not know then I must mentioned that every first day of the month we all Hive lovers celebrate the Hive Power Up day by powering up Hive. This shows our love, our trust on this wonderful web3 social media platform. Powering up hive has direct and indirect effect on our individual account also. When we power up hive that means we locked the Liquid Hive which reduce the liquid Hive available in the market. This is good for over all Hive ecosystem itself as this is one factor which effect the price of the $HiIVE. On other side this also increase the voting power of individual account powering up the Hive, which ultimately increase the curation rewards and also enable the user to support other authors in better way by supporting them with increased voting power.
Inching towards the 8k Hive Power Milestone
This month we are celebrating the second edition of the HPUD. I am trying to participate every month but some time the real life priorities come first. I want to increase my Hive power so I ma not selling the Hive I earned and reinvesting the in the ecosystem. If we participate the HPUD every months its like systematic investment which helps in achieving the log term goals. This also make us regulars and disciplinary, which is one of the mantra in finance and investment. Do not think of the value or number of the hive we power up, it does not matters, the thing which matters is the participation. Always keep in mind that the small step today is just start and always helps in achieving the big goals tomorrow.
At present I am holding 7,137.82 HP (after the power up) and If I look at the last post during the power up day, I was holding the 6,802.76 HP HP. So their is increase of approximately 335 Hive Power in past two months.

If you look at the both the graphs (weekly and month) You can clearly see that their are some days when I do not earn anything, the reason is I was not able to post regularly though out the month. . In the whole month the Author rewards were 193.18HP 225.84 HP ($72.69) and in the last week they are 35.6 HP ($13.4). If I compare the rewards with previous months then they are less in terms of hive but more in terms of the USD value, that is because of the change in Hive price. The Hive has shown the good progress in the last couple of weeks. When the price of Hive increased then the earnign form the post increased in terms of USD value but may decrease in term of the Hive numbers.
For tis year I am chasing three major goals on the Hive Blockchain. The first is achieving the 10k Hive Power, the second is achieving the 15k Leo Power and the third is achieving the 2k HBD in saving. The threadcast are the good way to engage and earn the Leo token. I am trying to participate in such threadcasts but the main hurdle is the timing. Most of the threadcast stared late night (in part of world I am living) so it become difficult for me to participate. The 10k Hive Power is also a tough goal for me. With present HP I can say I have already completed 71.3 percent targets.
I am holding 1,709 HBD in the saving so approximately 291 HBD will be required to make it 2k. Every month I received slightly more then 21 HBD as interest form saving so without much efforts I can achieve the goal in year time. Regarding the Leo Power goal then I am already holding the 10,830 Leo power and in this way already achieved more then 72% target.
