Opening 22 Major Chests in Splinterlands

Another season has started in Splinterlands and to start it off right I'm going to open some Loot Chests to get some extra energy and battle more often, thus increasing my Glint and SPS earnings this season.

My strategy for Glint is very simple, I spend all of them on Loot Chests because in my opinion it's the best option in the rewards store, in Loot Chests I can earn energy and jackpots, this means I can greatly increase my earnings during the season and I can also earn cards to evolve my current Reward cards.

I currently have 22,256 Glint and today I decided to open Major Chests, with this amount of Glint I will be able to buy and open 22 Major Chests.

Each Major Chest costs 1,000 Glint and has the following reward chances:

33% chance of getting Reward Cards.
30.9% chance of getting Potions.
26% chance of getting Merits.
10% chance of getting Energy.
0.01% chance of getting Jackpot.

The Major Chest is not the best option for getting jackpots in Loot Chests, but it is the best option for getting energy since I can open a larger amount than the Ultimate Chests and for this reason it is my choice of Loot Chest today.

Since I started playing Splinterlands I have not been lucky enough to get any jackpot in the rewards store, even after opening thousands of Loot Chests. I hope that this season will be different and my luck will finally start to change, but I am already happy just to get a good amount of energy because that way I can increase my Glint and SPS earnings this season.

Now let's see how my luck is and what rewards I will receive by opening these 22 Major Chests.

Unfortunately my luck with jackpots remains the same and I didn't receive any in these Major Chests, but my luck with energy wasn't bad and getting 11 energy, that's a good amount for 22 Major Chests and will help me a lot with my earnings this season.

I was also lucky enough to get 2 Olivia of the Brook cards, she's my favorite card from the current edition of reward cards in Splinterlands, these 2 cards will be very useful to evolve my current Olivia of the Brook.

A simple strategy I use is to always use Alchemy potions when opening Loot Chests, this way I increase my chances of receiving Gold Foil cards and I can burn them to get more Glint and open more Loot Chests.
