The season is almost over in Splinterlands and today I decided to open more Loot Chests in the rewards store.
My initial goal was to open 300 Minor Chests, 150 Major Chests and 30 Ultimate Chests. Unfortunately I couldn't complete this goal because my Glint was lower than I expected.
Since I can't open all the Loot Chests I wanted this season, my focus was only on Major Chests and Ultimate Chests. Today I decided to open more Major Chests because they are the best option to gain energy and since the season is ending, I want to increase my earnings in it as much as possible by battling more often, so I get more Glint and SPS this season.
One of my strategies for Loot Chests is to always use Alchemy potions, so I increase my chances of getting Gold Foil cards and I can burn them to get more Glint and open more Loot Chests.
I managed to accumulate another 23,031 Glint and this amount is enough for me to open 23 more Major Chests in Splinterlands.
Each Major Chest costs 1,000 Glint and has the following reward chances:
- 33% chance of getting Reward Cards.
- 30.9% chance of getting Potions.
- 26% chance of getting Merits.
- 10% chance of getting Energy.
- 0.01% chance of getting Jackpot.
This season I have already managed to open 85 Major Chests and 10 Ultimate Chests, after opening these 23 Major Chests the number will rise to 107 Major Chests. This is a low amount compared to my initial goal but if I add the amount of Glint I will receive at the end of the season plus the Glint I will receive during the next season, then the number of Loot Chests I will be able to open will be much higher.
Now let's see how my luck is opening Loot Chests today, maybe I'll even get a jackpot.
As I expected, today was not the day I finally won my first jackpot in Splinterlands and unfortunately my luck in gaining energy was also bad since I only got 3 energy. On the other hand, I was lucky with the reward cards, I got several and they will be very useful to evolve my current collection of reward cards in Splinterlands.
