A new season has started in Splinterlands and my goal is to get 400,000 Glint so that I can open 300 Minor Chests, 150 Major Chests and 30 Ultimate Chests.
I probably won't be able to open that many Loot Chests because I'll only receive half of that amount of Glint after the next season starts, so my plans will only be valid next season.
Since I won't be able to open all the Loot Chests I want this season, my focus will first be on the Major Chests and then on the Ultimate Chests.
To start the season off right, I decided to spend 35,000 Glint on Major Chests, so I can get some extra energy and start the season battling more often and thus increase my Glint and SPS earnings during the season.
I get the 35,000 Glint by burning some Gold Foil cards that I haven't used in my collection. In fact, this is one of my strategies. I burn the Gold Foil cards to get some extra Glint and thus be able to open more Loot Chests during the season.
Each Major Chest costs 1,000 Glint, so 35,000 Glint will be enough for me to open 35 Major Chests.
Whenever I open Loot Chests, I use Alchemy Potions and Legendary Potions.
- The Alchemy Potion increases my chances of getting Gold Foil cards.
- The Legendary Potion increases my chances of getting Legendary cards.
As I mentioned before, I burn the Gold Foil cards so that I can then use Alchemy Potions, which is very useful since the amount of Glint I can burn from the Gold Foil cards is greater than the amount of Glint I spend on the chest.
Now let's see if I'll get lucky opening these Major Chests and maybe I'll even get a jackpot.
Unfortunately, it wasn't the day I got my first jackpot in Splinterlands, but I was lucky and got 11 energy so I can consider myself lucky because I've had experiences of opening more Loot Chests and not getting any energy. I was also lucky enough to get several cards that will be useful for me to evolve my collection of Reward cards, but I wasn't lucky enough to get Gold Foil cards to burn and open more Loot Chests.
Now that I have a good amount of energy, it's time to start my journey in this new season and try to reach my goal which is 400,000 Glint.
