I think because he was a qualified professional, the ego and pride got to him, unfortunately if he couldn't deliver his job properly, then he wasn't of any use to you. I wouldn't like to hire a professional with ego and pride problem.

Lucky for us we saw what was happening and we sent him away, he would hve took years going slow as a snail and asking more and more money.
Good decision. You would have wasted a lot of money and time.
