I saw this post from coldbeetrootsoup sometimes back about voting Hive Dapps on dapplist.com and at that time I didn't know how well Hive users would turn up because it'll require them to use EVM wallets and all that.
Then I went ahead to make this post
I discovered and posted a hack for users who may have difficulty voting on their mobile device.
Someone told me in the comment section that the contest has not officially begun, but I told them I was eager to vote and contribute my quota, and the reward or whatever that comes with it was secondary.
In a little over a week. the turnout has been massive so far. I and @gadrian were one of the earliest people to vote and back then it was about 8 votes, and I honestly it felt depressing.
It is not like we are going to win an Oscar by voting, but it could mean something. I saw some other projects with around 60 votes and all that. However, after I confirmed with Cold, they informed me that we were already at 149 votes.
This is a significant increase from 8 votes, and while I know we can do much more, that is still a very good participation rate.
Now, I do not really care if this participation in the voting process occurs because of promised rewards; I believe it is not a bad idea to offer rewards for participation, as community incentives for participation increase interest and so on, but we still had people participate because they were passionate about the dapps in the ecosystem.
Hive is a huge place, and we have built a community of active users who are loyal to our apps, games, and existing decentralized systems.
These people will do anything to help the system, whether they are rewarded or not. In reality, there are Hive maxis everywhere, even though these people scares away potential users to Hive, they're core maxis and they'll support the Blockchain whatsoever and in ways they can.
There are people developing blog plugins that will be compatible with Hive. Many people are working hard to get us more listings, and they are not asking for anything in return. I am not saying it is wrong to ask for money; after all, that is what the DHF fund is really for.
My point is that there are more people who genuinely love Hive than the price. Price is appealing, and it is the most important onboarding factor in any project; however, we have a system that works on layer one, as well as another system that works on layer 2.
We saw this display of love and community when we forked in 2020 and Hive was born. Aside from HEX and BTC maxis, Hive maxis are probably some of the most committed and loyal people ever, and even when things do not appear to be going well on the surface, a lot of people are working hard behind the scenes.
Thank you, everyone
So we have a community that supports the systems and dapps. Some people are already switching between Splinterlands and Hive (and vice versa) to support the products and projects we have, and even people who do not play Splinterlands are voting for the project and all that.
The current price is not reflective of the product we have, but it will not last forever. Cheers to everyone who has voted so far; it is truly amazing to see people turn out.

Do you have an idea what NFTshowroom is?
it's a place where u can sell NFTs that u made f u r an artist "or wanna b", & of course u can also buy NFTs that u like that r made by other artists. have a good day
It's probably not affiliated with Hive, but yes, someone already answered the question
I think it's a great effort to support our ecosystem. Hive's price won't always be this cheap, a good time to buy up Hive on the cheap!
It is. I don't miss any opportunity to participate in any form of voting that prospectively puts us out there. It's a steal to get Hive at this price, I think I'll hopefully come back to this comment in October, God willing.
Many people are not aware of this. Like me, I'm just seeing this for the first time.
Is the voting still going on?
A lot is going on, as the Blockchain is a huge place.

The instructions are here on how to go about it.
Ok
Thanks
I already voted, but its nice to see people get together on this issue. I think Hive can get more votes, but it will probably take time.
Yeah, thanks for voting. I think we can actually get more votes, we can also stun other projects out there by surpassing whatever votes they already have.
Where can I cast my vote please...let's keep supporting our own Hive ♥️

Cold beetroot made a post here, and it's also there in the second link attached to the post.
Alright, thanks ✅
Am just getting to see this. Will check it out and contribute my quarter
Goodluck with it
Hive is weird I a way, u have too be a really nerd to actually survive on hive and remove the ideal of quick earnings from your mind to stay long on hive. Will be nice if we get more votes on hive daps though and more apps to access the hive blockchain on playstore

"149 votes" not bad but can b better, "I believe it is not a bad idea to offer rewards for participation" "that is what the DHF fund is really for" i agree, seems like dapplist.com doesn't work anymore "the domain is for sell", i usually check dappradar & hive dapps r listed n there i've seen peakd, hive.blog, ecency, splinterlands & probably others also can b found there. great post- have a good day

I'm happy to see so many people voting. Hive really does have a strong community. Let me check which ones I didn't yet vote on. We'll keep pushing for more
Let's be honest, TheDappList wasn't the most easy to use app when we voted. Maybe they improved it till then because I read they had a major upgrade last week. If the process of voting for apps that were not easy to find would have been easier, probably Splinterlands would have had an even better score. But even like that, I saw it went right up there among the top voted ones. We can of course cast many more votes than 149 for Splinterlands, for sure.
