Moon Karts Alpha: My Game Activity and Progress
On September 2024, the playable Alpha version of the game Moonkarts was released.
Moonkarts is a arcade race game Hive-based that can be accessed:

In my previous post about MoonKarts I shared the opening of 25 CENTAURI packs and my Kart setup, today I share my thoughts after trying the Multiplayer mode of this game.
To play on Moon Karts you need to have a Kart type NFT and also some FUEL.
I think I was very lucky because in 25 open CENTAURI packs I found a legendary Kart: the Arachno Eclipse Kart
Compared to the other Kart-type NFTs I have in my NFT collection my Legendary Kart has significantly better game stats than even the Quasar Sport Epic Kart.
Compared to the first setup of my Kart that I shared in my previous post, I made subsequent changes to reduce the fuel consumption of my Kart.
In the next image you can see the setup of my Kart which has a consumption in Fuel = 233.4 per race.
To produce FUEL it is necessary to:
stack the NFTs you do not use in the game in the Auto Vault section.
have 2 SCRIPT staked for each NFT staked.
I have 30 SCRIPT staked and I put 15 NFTs in staking to produce FUEL
The type of NFT and also the level of NFT affects the production of FUEL.
I staked NFTs of the Power Ups type because they have a very high Fuel production compared to my other NFTs of other types and also of the same rarity.
For example 1 Lunar Glide (Common Power Up) has a Fuel Potential = 42.5
1 Astro Kart (Common Kart) has a Fuel Potential = 1
I ran several races with my Kart and had fun because driving a Kart is fun.
One of my favorite games is actually Super Mario Kart that I play with my daughter and my grandson when he visits me at my house.
Moon Karts is a game very similar to Super Mario Kart, obviously it is not at the level of the famous Nintendo game but it is fun and in my opinion it has potential also because there are not many similar games in the blockchain-based game scene.
There are also many aspects to improve but I have seen that some bugs have already been fixed.
For example until a few days ago the race rewards report was totally wrong because it indicated a much higher gain in COLONY tokens than real while now it has been corrected.
The leaderboards are active but the rewards system linked to the leaderboards is being tested and therefore not yet active.
When the Reward System will be fully active the distribution of COLONY tokens will take place via the split you can see in the next image.
Ranking rewards are not yet active but you can receive rewards in COLONY tokens by playing the races.
Along the circuit you can collect the ORBITALS that I have highlighted in the next image and that are important for advancing in the Orbitals Leaderboards.
During the run you can also collect the COLONY tokens that I have highlighted in the next image.
The game is in the Alpha development phase and even if at the moment there are not many active players I think this game could have potential because it is fun even if some aspects should be improved such as for example in my opinion it would be useful to implement the division of players into multiple leagues so as to increase the fun of players who have very fast karts and players who have less fast karts.
Regarding the cost of entering the game it is necessary to buy 1 Kart.
In the market the cheapest Kart has a cost of $0.99.
Kart-type NFTs can also be found in CENTAURI packs that cost 15.69 SWAP.HIVE on Hive Engine.
To earn FUEL you must have at least 2 SCRIPT staked.
Purchasing 2 SCRIPT has a cost of:
- 4.98 SWAP.HIVE on Hive Engine
- 4.11800278 SWAP.HIVE using the SWAP feature of the SCRIPT:SWAP.HIVE pool.

Moon Karts Alpha: La mia attività di gioco e i miei progressi!
Il 20 settembre 2024 è stata rilasciata la versione Alpha completamente giocabile del gioco Moonkarts.

Nel mio precedente post su MoonKarts ho condiviso l'apertura di 25 CENTAURI packs e il setup del mio Kart, oggi condivido le mie considerazioni dopo aver provato la modalità Multiplayer di questo gioco.
Per giocare su Moon Karts è necessario avere un NFT di tipo Kart e anche del FUEL.
Io penso di essere stato molto fortunato perchè in 25 CENTAURI packs aperti ho trovato un Kart leggendario: l'Arachno Eclipse Kart
Rispetto agli altri NFT di tipo Kart che ho nella mia collezione di NFT il mio Kart leggendario ha statistiche di gioco nettamente migliori anche del Kart epico Quasar Sport.
Rispetto al primo setup del mio Kart che avevo condiviso nel mio precedente post ho fatto delle successive modifiche per ridurre il consumo in fuel del mio Kart.
Nell'immagine successiva puoi vedere il setup del mio Kart che ha un consumo in Fuel = 233.4 per gara.
Per produrre FUEL è necessario:
- mettere in stake gli NFT che non usi in gioco nella sezione Auto Vault
- avere 2 SCRIPT staked per ogni NFT staked.
Io ho 30 SCRIPT staked e ho messo 15 NFT in staking per produrre FUEL
La tipologia di NFT e anche il livello degli NFT influenza la produzione di FUEL.
Io ho messo in staking gli NFT di tipo Power Ups perchè hanno una produzione di Fuel molto alta rispetto agli altri miei NFT di altra tipologia e anche della stessa rarità.
Ad esempio 1 Lunar Glide (Common Power Up) ha un Fuel Potential = 42.5
1 Astro Kart (Common Kart) ha un Fuel Potential = 1
Con il mio Kart ho corso diverse gare e mi sono divertito perchè guidare un Kart è divertente.
Uno dei mie giochi preferiti è proprio Super Mario Kart a cui gioco con mia figlia e con mio nipote quando viene a trovarmi a casa mia.
Moon Karts è un gioco molto simile a Super Mario Kart, ovviamente non è al livello del famoso gioco Nintendo ma è divertente e secondo me ha potenziale anche perchè giochi di questo tipo basati su Hive non ci sono.
Ci sono anche molti aspetti da migliorare ma ho visto che alcuni bugs sono stati giù risolti.
Ad esempio fino a qualche giorno fa il resoconto delle rewards della corsa era totalmente sbagliato perchè indicava un guadagno in token COLONY molto più alto del reale mentre adesso è stato corretto.
Sono attive le leaderboards ma il sistema delle ricompense collegato alle leaderboards è in fase di test e quindi non è ancora attivo.
Quando il Reward System sarà completamente attivo la distribuzione dei token COLONY avverrà tramite la suddivisione che puoi vedere nella prossima immagine.
Le Ranking rewards non sono ancor attive ma è possibile ricevere delle ricompense in token COLONY giocando le corse.
Lungo il circuito è possibile raccogliere gli ORBITALS che ho evidenziato nella prossima immagine e che sono importanti per avanzare nella Orbitals Leaderboards.
Durante la corsa è possibile raccogliere anche i token COLONY che ho evidenziato nella prossima immagine.
Il gioco è nella fase di sviluppo Alpha e anche se al momento non ci sono molti giocatori attivi penso che questo gioco potrebbe avere del potenziale perchè è divertente anche se alcuni aspetti andrebbero migliorati come ad esempio secondo me sarebbe utile implementare la divisione dei giocatori in più leghe in modo da aumentare il divertimento dei giocatori che hanno kart molto veloci e dei giocatori che hanno Kart meno veloci.
Per quanto riguarda il costo di ingresso nel gioco è necessario acquistare 1 Kart.
Nel market il Kart più economico ha un costo di 0.99$
Gli NFT di tipo Kart possono essere trovati anche nei CENTAURI packs che hanno un costo di 15.69 SWAP.HIVE su Hive Engine.
Per guadagnare FUEL è necessario avere almeno 2 SCRIPT staked.
Acquistare 2 SCRIPT ha un costo di:
- 4.98 SWAP.HIVE su Hive Engine
- 4.11800278 SWAP.HIVE utilizzando la funzionalità SWAP della pool SCRIPT:SWAP.HIVE

Urca, interessante.... grazie per questo post, adesso so che su HIVE c'è qualcosa dedicato al mondo dei motori, magari in maniera fantastica più che realistica, ma i giochi di Kart potrebbero piacermi, vedrò a breve di visionare questo gioco
Se ti piacciono i giochi di corse questo gioco è ben fatto e anche divertente.
Considerando che è in fase Alpha potrebbe avere del potenziale anche se adesso saranno importanti altri aspetti come la promozione e le scelte relative alla tokenomics
È vero che reggere il paragone con Super Mario Kart non è facile, ma al contempo è anche una ottima fonte di ispirazione da cui attingere idee per rendere questo gioco sempre più divertente. Tra l'altro devo andare a vedere cosa ho ricevuto dall'airdrop e se c'è qualcosa che vale... qualcosa !LOL

A differenza di genesis league goals questo gioco è divertente e ben fatto e per questo motivo ha molto potenziale, adesso saranno importanti altri aspetti come la promozione e le scelte relative alla tokenomics

Sono d'accordissimo: Genesis League non mi ispira proprio e spero che con la v.2 rendano la formula un po' più avvincente, perchè così sembrava davvero monotono e poco ispirato... al contrario Moon Karts ha una identità molto più definita e sembra decisamente più divertente!

Yes my friend it is a game with nice graphics and it is also fun although there are few active players at the moment and at some times of the day it is hard to find players.
Yes it is already possible to earn COLONY tokens from races. It will be interesting to see how they will develop the Ranking Rewards part which is not active yet

It looks like a decent game, but I think it's still kind of complicated. I don't know if that is good or bad for new users, but I guess in the end, it's race and earn.

The game itself is fun and easy to play. The somewhat complicated part concerns tokenomics because you need to stake SCRIPT tokens in order to play in the multiplayer version
