Moon Karts: My Game Activity, Results and Rewards in Season 16 + My Next Seasonal Goals
+ Focus on COLONY and SCRIPT Market Value
Moonkarts is a Hive-based arcade race game with nice graphics and good gameplay that is part of the games featured on the Arcade Colony platform.
If you don't know Moon Karts, you can read the guide that I wrote recently in which I explained how to start playing.
On Moon Karts, competition among players is structured in seasons and each season is 10 days long.
There are two seasonal leaderboards that reward players based on placements in races (Ranked Leaderboard) and based on Orbitals (in-game items) collected on the track during races (Orbitals Leaderboard).
Just over an hour ago, season number 16 ended and season 17 began.
When it was about an hour before the end of season 16, I took a screenshot of the two leaderboards to show the scores of the top players and also the rewards they received.

In my opinion it would be useful to have the ability to look up the previous season's leaderboards like on Splinterlands and I will suggest this change in the Moon Karts Discord channel.
In today's post I share my game activity, achievements and rewards I received at the end of season 16.
Today I went to the Notification section to make the Claim of the season 16 rewards and to see my final season results.
In season 16 my results were:
- 10th place in the Ranked Leaderboard - Reward: 8051 COLONY.
- 10th place in the Orbital Leaderboard - Reward: 2228 COLONY
I am very happy with these results because I achieved both goals that I had set at the beginning of season 16 and had shared and published in this post.
In fact, at the beginning of the season, I had set a goal of finishing at least in the top 10 of both seasonal leaderboards, and I succeeded!
Based on the market value (Highest Bid) of the COLONY tokens and based on the market value of the HIVE token, I calculated the value in SWAP.HIVE and dollars of the seasonal reward I received today.
Summing the rewards from the two leaderboards, I received a total of 10279 COLONY = 13.35 SWAP.HIVE = $4.28
In each successive season I played more races and my rewards increased season after season.
In the last 4 seasons (40 days) I have earned 24886 COLONY = 32.33 SWAP.HIVE = $10.37
One of my main current goals is to increase the amount of staked COLONY tokens in my possession because this way I will be able to earn a greater amount of COLONY tokens in every single race.
In fact on Moon Karts there is a mechanism similar to the SPS boost mechanism on Splinterlands and based on the amount of COLONY tokens staked you can have a Bonus Multiplier.
In season 16 I had an amount of 60K COLONY staked and my average gain was about 1-1.5 COLONY per run.
For this reason, I have set an accumulation goal for COLONY tokens and would like to reach an amount of 100K COLONY staked as soon as possible.
Thanks to the rewards I earned from playing in season 16 and thanks to the COLONY tokens I earned from daily airdrop as SPS stakeholder and GLX stakeholder today I was able to add +10516.29 COLONY to my stake.
I now have 70619.48 COLONY staked and have exceeded 70% of my accumulation goal!
In the current season I will continue to play and continue to have fun but I will also try to improve my game results and also my rewards.
My goals for season 17 will be higher than the ones I set at the beginning of season 16:
- play at least 80 races
- get at least in the top 8 of the two leaderboards.
In the next few days will also try to purchase COLONY tokens from the market by converting some of the tokens I have in my Hive Engine wallet.
I also have an active purchase offer for 8 CENTAURI packs on Hive Engine
I like to monitor the market value of the tokens of the games I play and/or have invested in, and I will conclude this post with a small focus on the market value of COLONY tokens and SCRIPT tokens.
The last time I monitored the market value of the COLONY token and the SCRIPT token was February 8, 2025 (the start of season 16).
In the next two images you can see the changes in value in HIVE and dollars recorded by the COLONY token and the SCRIPT token over a 10-day time interval (February 8, 2025 - Feb. 18, 2025)

Moon Karts: La mia attività di gioco e i miei progressi + i miei risultati nella stagione 16 e i miei prossimi obiettivi stagionali
Moonkarts è un Hive-based arcade race game che fa parte dei giochi presenti sulla piattaforma Arcade Colony.
Se non conosci Moon Karts puoi leggere la guida che ho scritto di recente in cui ho spiegato come iniziare a giocare indicando anche tutti i requisiti iniziali.
Su Moon Karts la competizione tra i giocatori è strutturata in stagioni e ogni stagione ha una durata di 10 giorni.
Ci sono due leaderboards stagionali che premiano i giocatori in base ai posizionamenti nelle corse (Ranked Leaderboard) e in base agli Orbitals (in-game items) raccolti sul tracciato durante le corse (Orbitals Leaderboard).
Poco più di un ora fa è terminata la stagione numero 16 ed è iniziata la stagione 17.
Quando mancava circa un ora alla fine della stagione 16 ho fatto uno screenshot delle due leaderboards per mostrare i punteggi dei giocatori più forti e anche le rewards che hanno ricevuto.

Secondo me sarebbe utile avere la possibilità di consultare le classifiche della stagione precedente come su Splinterlands e suggerirò questa modifica nel canale Discord di Moon Karts.
Nel post di oggi condivido la mia attività di gioco, i miei risultati e le ricompense che ho ricevuto alla fine della stagione 16.
Oggi sono andato nella sezione Notification per fare il Claim delle ricompense della stagione 16 e per vedere i miei risultati stagionali finali.
Nella stagione 16 i miei risultati sono stati:
- 10° posto nella Ranked Leaderboard - Reward: 8051 COLONY
- 10° posto nella Orbital Leaderboard - Reward: 2228 COLONY
Sono molto contento di questi risultati perchè ho raggiunto entrambi gli obiettivi che mi ero posto all'inizio della stagione 16 e che avevo condiviso e pubblicato in questo post.
Infatti all'inizio della stagione avevo fissato l'obiettivo di arrivare almeno nella top 10 di entrambe le leaderboards stagionali e ci sono riuscito!
In base al valore di mercato (Highest Bid) dei token COLONY e in base al valore di mercato del token HIVE ho calcolato il valore in SWAP.HIVE e in dollari della ricompensa stagionale che ho ricevuto oggi.
Sommando le ricompense delle due leaderboards ho ricevuto un totale di 10279 COLONY = 13.35 SWAP.HIVE = 4.28$
In ogni stagione ho giocato più corse e le mie ricompense sono aumentate stagione dopo stagione.
Nelle ultime 4 stagioni (40 giorni) ho guadagnato 24886 COLONY = 32.33 SWAP.HIVE = 10.37$
Uno dei miei obiettivi principali attuali è aumentare il quantitativo di token COLONY staked in mio possesso perchè in questo modo potrò guadagnare un quantitativo di token COLONY maggiore in ogni singola gara.
Infatti su Moon Karts c'è un meccanismo simile al meccanismo SPS boost su Splinterlands e in base al quantitativo di token COLONY staked è possibile avere un Bonus Multiplier.
Nella stagione 16 avevo un quantitativo di 60K COLONY staked e il mio guadagno medio è stato di circa 1-1.5 COLONY per corsa.
Per questo motivo ho fissato un obiettivo di accumulo per i token COLONY e vorrei raggiungere un quantitativo di 100K COLONY staked nel più breve tempo possibile.
Grazie alle ricompense che ho guadagnato giocando nella stagione 16 e grazie ai token COLONY che ho guadagnato dall'airdrop giornaliero come SPS stakeholder e GLX stakeholder oggi ho potuto aggiungere +10516.29 COLONY al mio stake.
Adesso ho 70619.48 COLONY staked e ho superato il 70% del mio obiettivo di accumulo!
Nella stagione in corso continuerò a giocare e continuerò a divertirmi ma proverò anche a migliorare i miei risultati di gioco e anche le mie ricompense.
I miei obiettivi per la stagione 17 saranno più alti di quelli che avevo fissato all'inizio della stagione 16:
- giocare almeno 80 corse
- arrivare almeno nella top 8 delle due leaderboards.
Nei prossimi giorni cercherà anche di acquistare dei token COLONY dal mercato convertendo dei token che ho nel mio Hive Engine wallet.
Ho anche un offerta di acquisto attiva per 8 CENTAURI packs su Hive Engine
Mi piace monitorare il valore di mercato dei token dei giochi in cui gioco e/o in cui ho investito e concludo questo post con un piccolo focus sul valore di mercato dei token COLONY e dei token SCRIPT.
L'ultima volta che ho monitorato il valore di mercato del token COLONY e del token SCRIPT era l'8 febbraio 2025 (l'inizio della stagione 16).
Nella prossime due immagini puoi vedere le variazioni di valore in HIVE e in dollari registrate dal token COLONY e dal token SCRIPT in un intervallo di tempo di 10 giorni (8 febbraio 2025 - 18 febbraio 2025)

I played the Alpha, and it worked very well—it was fun, and everything was unlocked.
Now we have to start from scratch. Well, I bought the starter kart and found the gameplay terrible. Is it normal for the car to handle poorly, or do I need to buy something else to improve its drivability?
My kart has good playability but I think it is due to statistical handling produced by the kart and other NFTs.
I will check this and try to improve it
