Moon Karts: My Game Activity, Results and Rewards in Season 17 + My Next Seasonal Goals
+ Focus on COLONY and SCRIPT Market Value
Moonkarts is a Hive-based arcade race game with nice graphics and good gameplay that is part of the games featured on the Arcade Colony platform.
If you don't know Moon Karts, you can read the guide that I wrote recently in which I explained how to start playing.
On Moon Karts the competition between players is structured in seasons and each season is 10 days long.
At the time I am writing this post, season 18 is in progress, which started just over two days ago and will end in 7 days and 17 hours.
I started playing on Moon Karts much more frequently and much more regularly starting with season 13, a season in which seasonal rewards were fully activated while in previous seasons the rewards were limited to give the development team a chance to make changes and improvements to the game and for players to try the game and send feedback to improve it.
There are two seasonal leaderboards on Moon Karts:
- Ranked Leaderboard: rewards players based on placements in individual races during the season and based on the amount of staked COLONY tokens each player has.
- Orbitals Leaderboard: rewards players based on Orbitals (in-game items) collected on the track during races and based on the amount of staked COLONY tokens each player has.

Moon Karts is a game I like, which is why it entered my Hive blog posting schedule and I will try to publish at least one post every early season just as I do for the other Hive-based games I play frequently and regularly.
In today's post I share my game activity and achievements in season 17 and the rewards I received at the end of season 17.
Today I went to the Notification section to make the Claim of the season 17 rewards** and to see my final season results.
At the beginning of season 17 I had set a goal of finishing at least in the top 8 of both season leaderboards.
In season 17 my final results were:
- 9th place in the Ranked Leaderboard - Reward: 8474 COLONY
- 6th place in the Orbital Leaderboard - Reward: 2972 COLONY
I did not reach my season goal but I came very close and will try again in the current season.
However, I am happy that I earned more COLONY tokens than the previous season.
Based on the market value (Highest Bid) of the COLONY tokens and based on the market value of the HIVE token, I calculated the value in SWAP.HIVE and dollars of the seasonal reward I received at the end of season 17.
Adding up the rewards from the two leaderboards, I received a total seasonal reward of 11446 COLONY = 14.99 SWAP.HIVE = $4.58
In the last 5 seasons (50 days) I have earned 36332 COLONY = 47.59 SWAP.HIVE = 14.56$
One of my main current goals on Moon Karts is to increase the amount of staked COLONY tokens in my possession because single race and seasonal rewards depend on and are influenced by staked COLONY.
In fact on Moon Karts there is a mechanism similar to the SPS boost mechanism on Splinterlands and based on the amount of COLONY tokens staked you can have a Bonus Multiplier.
At the beginning of season 17 I had an amount of 70619.48 COLONY staked.
Thanks to the rewards I earned from playing in season 17 and thanks to the COLONY tokens I earned from daily airdrop as SPS stakeholder and GLX stakeholder today I was able to add +11720.72 COLONY (11602.84 COLONY + 117.88 COLONY) to my stake.
I now have 82340.21 COLONY staked and have exceeded 82% of my accumulation goal and am only 18K COLONY away from reaching an amount of 100K COLONY staked!
In the current season I will continue to play and continue to have fun but I will also try to improve my game results and also my rewards.
My goals for season 18 will be the same as I set at the beginning of season 17 because I have not yet achieved them:
- arrive at least in the top 8 of the Ranked Leaderboard
- arrive at least in the top 8 of the Orbitals Leaderboard.
During season 17 I also purchased 1 CENTAURI packs on Hive Engine.
Today I made an offer to try to purchase 9 CENTAURI packs at the price of 5.5 SWAP.HIVE per pack.
If no seller accepts my offer I will raise my purchase offer and when I have 10 CENTAURI packs I will open them with the goal of increasing my Kart preset's game stats.
I like to monitor the market value of the tokens of the games I play and/or have invested in, and I will conclude this post with a small focus on the market value of COLONY tokens and SCRIPT tokens.
The last time I monitored the market value of the COLONY token and the SCRIPT token was February 18, 2025.
In the next two images you can see the changes in value in HIVE and dollars recorded by the COLONY token and the SCRIPT token over a 13-day time interval (February 18, 2025 - March 3, 2025)

Moon Karts: La mia attività di gioco e i miei progressi + i miei risultati nella stagione 17 e i miei prossimi obiettivi stagionali
Moonkarts è un Hive-based arcade race game che fa parte dei giochi presenti sulla piattaforma Arcade Colony.
Se non conosci Moon Karts puoi leggere la guida che ho scritto di recente in cui ho spiegato come iniziare a giocare indicando anche tutti i requisiti iniziali.
Su Moon Karts la competizione tra i giocatori è strutturata in stagioni e ogni stagione ha una durata di 10 giorni.
Nel momento in cui sto scrivendo questo post è in corso la stagione 18 che è iniziata da poco più di due giorni e terminerà tra 7 giorni e 17 ore.
Ho iniziato a giocare su Moon Karts con molta più frequenza e molta più regolarità a partire dalla stagione 13, stagione in cui sono state attivate completamente le rewards stagionali mentre nelle precedenti stagioni le ricompense erano limitate per dare la possibilità al team di sviluppo di apportare modifiche e migliorie al gioco e ai giocatori di provare il gioco e inviare feedback per migliorarlo.
Su Moon Karts ci sono due leaderboards stagionali:
- Ranked Leaderboard: premia i giocatori in base ai posizionamenti nelle singole corse durante la stagione e in base al quantitativo di token COLONY staked che ogni giocatore ha.
- Orbitals Leaderboard: premia i giocatori in base in base agli Orbitals (in-game items) raccolti sul tracciato durante le corse e in base al quantitativo di token COLONY staked che ogni giocatore ha.

Moon Karts è un gioco che mi piace e per questo motivo è entrato nella mia scaletta di pubblicazione nel mio Hive blog e cercherò di pubblicare almeno un post ogni inizio di stagione esattamente come faccio per gli altri Hive-based games a cui gioco con frequenza e regolarità.
Nel post di oggi condivido la mia attività di gioco e i miei risultati nella stagione 17 e le ricompense che ho ricevuto alla fine della stagione 17.
Oggi sono andato nella sezione Notification per fare il Claim delle ricompense della stagione 17 e per vedere i miei risultati stagionali finali.
All'inizio della stagione 17 avevo fissato l'obiettivo di arrivare almeno nella top 8 di entrambe le leaderboards stagionali.
Nella stagione 17 i miei risultati finali sono stati:
- 9° posto nella Ranked Leaderboard - Reward: 8474 COLONY
- 6° posto nella Orbital Leaderboard - Reward: 2972 COLONY
Non ho raggiunto il mio obiettivo stagionale ma mi sono molto avvicinato e ci riproverò nella stagione in corso.
Sono comunque contento di aver guadagnato più token COLONY rispetto alla stagione precedente.
In base al valore di mercato (Highest Bid) dei token COLONY e in base al valore di mercato del token HIVE ho calcolato il valore in SWAP.HIVE e in dollari della ricompensa stagionale che ho ricevuto alla fine della stagione 17.
Sommando le ricompense delle due leaderboards ho ricevuto una ricompensa stagionale totale di 11446 COLONY = 14.99 SWAP.HIVE = 4.58$
Nelle ultime 5 stagioni (50 giorni) ho guadagnato 36332 COLONY = 47.59 SWAP.HIVE = 14.56$
Uno dei miei obiettivi principali attuali su Moon Karts è aumentare il quantitativo di token COLONY staked in mio possesso perchè le ricompense per singola gare e le ricompense stagionali dipendono e sono influenzate dai COLONY staked.
Infatti su Moon Karts c'è un meccanismo simile al meccanismo SPS boost su Splinterlands e in base al quantitativo di token COLONY staked è possibile avere un Bonus Multiplier.
All'inizio della stagione 17 avevo un quantitativo di 70619.48 COLONY staked.
Grazie alle ricompense che ho guadagnato giocando nella stagione 17 e grazie ai token COLONY che ho guadagnato dall'airdrop giornaliero come SPS stakeholder e GLX stakeholder oggi ho potuto aggiungere +11720.72 COLONY (11602.84 COLONY + 117.88 COLONY) al mio stake.
Adesso ho 82340.21 COLONY staked e ho superato l'82% del mio obiettivo di accumulo e mi mancano solo 18K COLONY per raggiungere un quantitativo di 100K COLONY staked!
Nella stagione in corso continuerò a giocare e continuerò a divertirmi ma proverò anche a migliorare i miei risultati di gioco e anche le mie ricompense.
I miei obiettivi per la stagione 18 saranno gli stessi che avevo fissato all'inizio della stagione 17 perchè non li ho ancora raggiunti:
- arrivare almeno nella top 8 della Ranked Leaderboard
- arrivare almeno nella top 8 della Orbitals Leaderboard
Durante la stagione 17 ho anche acquistato 1 CENTAURI packs su Hive Engine.
Oggi ho effettuato un offerta di acquisto per provare ad acquistare 9 CENTAURI packs al prezzo di 5.5 SWAP.HIVE per pack.
Se nessun venditore accetterà la mia offerta alzerò la mia offerta di acquisto e quando avrò 10 CENTAURI packs li aprirò con l'obiettivo di aumentare le statistiche di gioco del mio Kart preset.
Mi piace monitorare il valore di mercato dei token dei giochi in cui gioco e/o in cui ho investito e concludo questo post con un piccolo focus sul valore di mercato dei token COLONY e dei token SCRIPT.
L'ultima volta che ho monitorato il valore di mercato del token COLONY e del token SCRIPT era il 18 febbraio 2025.
Nella prossime due immagini puoi vedere le variazioni di valore in HIVE e in dollari registrate dal token COLONY e dal token SCRIPT in un intervallo di tempo di 13 giorni (18 febbraio 2025 - 3 marzo 2025)
