My fourth season played in Modern Format: Results, Considerations, and Comparison of Rewards between season 114 (with Bots) and season 117 (without Bots)
Today ended Season 117 of Splinterlands, which was my fourth season playing only in the Modern Format.
Season 117 was also the third season in which bots were excluded from ranked battles in the Modern Format.
Those who regularly read my posts on Splinterlands know well my views about permitting bots in a game as beautiful as Splinterlands.
I have shared in detail my opinions and thoughts on bots in two of my previous posts which you will find at the following two links and which I will continue to share often in my pots with the goal of raising awareness among Splinterlands players on the subject of bots.

I am very happy for the introduction of the anti-bots measures in the Modern Format, and the exclusion of bots from the Modern Format was the reason I chose to move from the Wild Format to the Modern Format four seasons ago.
The season number 113 was the last season I played in the Wild Format.
Instead, season 114 was the first season in which I played only in the Modern Format when the Modern Format was still full of bots because the anti-bots measures were introduced during season 115.
I made the switch from Wild Format to Modern Format one season before the anti-bots measures were introduced because I wanted to have a chance to compare my results and rewards of a season with bots and a season without bots.
Today I am sharing a comparison between season 114 (the last season of Modern Format with bots) and season 117 (the third season without bots).
In season 117 I started from the Diamond III league of Modern Format and finished the season in the Diamond I league with the following results:

Battles: 348
Wins: 125
win rate: 35.92%
In season 114 I started in the Bronze III league of Modern Format and finished the season in the Diamond III league with the following results:
rating: 3082
rank: 646
Battles: 369
Wins: 207
win rate: 56.10%
Compared to my first season I played in the Modern Format my win rate has decreased although this data is not very indicative because the starting point and ending point in the two seasons was different.
Interestingly, however, despite a much lower win rate my rewards in SPS tokens per battle won increased when comparing the two seasons.
It is also interesting to note that my total seasonal gain in SPS tokens that I got from battles won in the last season also increased compared to the previous two seasons (116 and 115) played in the Modern Format in which I had a higher Win Rate than in season 117 and had finished the seasons in the same league (Diamond I).
Another positive result I record today is the gradual increase in the total number of Diamond chests season after season.
The introduction of the anti-bots measures in Modern Format has increased the rewards in SPS tokens per battle won for real players playing in Modern Format compared to real players and bots playing in Wild Format as you can see from the useful information provided by the website: https://splex.gg/tools/reward_pools

The difference in SPS token gain is larger in the initial leagues and less large in the Champion leagues.
In one of my last 10 battles won in the Diamond I league of Modern Format, I had a gain of 4.47 SPS which is perhaps my personal best.
In the Modern Format there are no bots but it is still possible to use Battle Helpers but in the future these applications will also be eliminated because a proposal has been approved and I am convinced that when battle helpers are also excluded my rewards will increase even more.
I am glad that I chose to switch to the Modern Format and I am glad that I can only play against real players.
After the introduction of the anti-bots measures my desire to play and to increase the battle strength of my card collection has increased a lot.
In the last season I had a very low win rate, but I also played most of the time in the small scraps of free time I had available and almost never watched my opponent's previous five battles and lost at least 30 battles without setting my lineup.
I could therefore do much better.
In the next season I will try to improve my win rate.
If I can increase my win rate I will also be able to increase my gain in SPS tokens which would allow me to reach my goal related to staked SPS tokens faster.
I have almost 67K SPS staked but I would like to reach at least an amount of 100K SPS staked.
The goals I have set for the 118 season that has just started are:
- achieve for the fourth consecutive season at least Diamond League I so as not to have to relegate to the Gold leagues at the beginning of the following season.
- increase my win rate
- increase the total seasonal number of Diamond chests.
To achieve my game goals I will continue to increase the battle strength of my card collection through purchases/upgrades of cards that I consider useful in battle and through the sale of cards that I do not use in battle.
During the season that just ended, I completed upgrading the Rare Summoners of the Chaos Legion edition with the exception of General Sloan that I do not intend to upgrade to the maximum level because I have Lorna Shine (level 7) and Grandmaster Rathe (level 4) that I consider more useful because they are more versatile.
As for the legendary summoners that can be used in Modern Format I am thinking of upgrading to the highest level Possibilus The Wise which could be very useful to me in battles where only monsters that have melee attack can be used and when the battle rule is Stampede.

Unfortunately, I wasn't very lucky with the contents of the chests I opened because I didn't find any legendary soulbound cards which are the cards I consider most useful in battle and would like to have in my collection at the highest level but I'm still glad I made some progress toward upgrading Soulbound cards:
- Common Regular: 34%
- Common Gold: 10%
- Rare Regular: 28%
- Rare Gold: 14%
- Epic Regular: 20%
- Epic Gold: 0%
- Legendary Regular: 5%
- Legendary Gold: 6%

With the soulbound cards I found in the chests during season 117, I was able to increase the level of:
- PYREWATCH DEVIL: level 4 -> level 5
PYREWATCH DEVIL is a card that I rarely use in battle but at level 5 it gained the Dispel ability particularly useful against cards that have the Blood Lust ability or against cards that have increased their stats due to the Martyr ability of adjacent cards.
This card could be useful in battles that have the Going to distance battle rule.
- NOA THE JUST: level 2 -> level 3
NOA THE JUST is a card that I have never used in battle until now but it could become a very useful card if I can find in the future the legendary card Kulu Mastermind which has the Target Practice ability that can give attack points to cards without attack.
- DRYBONE BARBARIAN: level 6 -> level 7
DRYBONE BARBARIAN is a card I like to use in high mana battles that have Melee Mayeem and Super Sneak rules.
I continue to set growth goals on Splinterlands, continue to increase the battle strength of my card collection, and look forward with much excitement to the start of Phase 1 lands and the fully playable versions of Genesis League Soccer and Soulkeep that will expand the Splinterlands ecosystem

La mia quarta stagione giocata nel Modern Format: Risultati, Considerazioni e Confronto delle ricompense tra la stagione 114 (con i Bots) e la stagione 117 (senza i Bots)
Oggi è terminata la stagione 117 di Splinterlands che è stata la mia quarta stagione in cui ho giocato solo nel Modern Format.
La stagione 117 è stata anche la terza stagione in cui i bots sono stati esclusi dalle ranked battles del Modern Format.
Chi legge regolarmente i miei post su Splinterlands conosce bene la mia opinione sul permettere l'utilizzo dei bots in un gioco bello come Splinterlands.
Ho condiviso in dettaglio le mie opinioni e le mie considerazioni sui bots in due miei precedenti post che trovi ai due links seguenti e che continuerò a condividere spesso nei miei pots con l'obiettivo di sensibilizzare i giocatori di Splinterlands sull'argomento bots.

Sono molto contento dell'introduzione delle misure anti-bots nel Modern Format e l'esclusione dei bots dal Modern Format è stata la ragione per cui quattro stagioni fa ho scelto di passare dal Wild Format al Modern Format.
La stagione numero 113 è stata l'ultima stagione in cui ho giocato nel Wild Format.
La stagione 114 è stata invece la prima stagione in cui ho giocato solo nel Modern Format quando il Modern Format era ancora pieno di bots perchè le misure anti-bots sono state introdotte durante la stagione 115.
Ho fatto il passaggio dal Wild Format al Modern Format una stagione prima dell'introduzione delle misure anti-bots perchè volevo avere la possibilità diretta di confrontare risultati e ricompense di una stagione con i bots e una stagione senza bots.
Oggi condivido il confronto tra la stagione 114 (l'ultima stagione del Modern Format con i bots) e la stagione 117 (terza stagione senza bots).
Nella stagione 117 sono partito dalla lega Diamond III del Modern Format e ho concluso la stagione nella lega Diamond I con i seguenti risultati:

Nella stagione 114 sono partito dalla lega Bronze III del Modern Format e ho concluso la stagione nella lega Diamond III con i seguenti risultati:
rating: 3082

Rispetto alla mia prima stagione che ho giocato nel Modern Format il mio win rate è diminuito anche se questo dato non è molto indicativo perchè il punto di partenza e il punto di arrivo nelle due stagioni è stato diverso.
E' interessante però notare che nonostante un win rate molto inferiore le mie ricompense in token SPS per battaglia vinta sono aumentate nel confronto tra le due stagioni.
E'interessante notare anche che il mio guadagno stagionale totale in token SPS che ho ottenuto dalle battaglie vinte nell'ultima stagione è aumentato anche rispetto alle due precedenti stagioni (116 e 115) giocate nel Modern Format in cui avevo avuto un Win Rate maggiore rispetto alla stagione 117 ed avevo terminato le stagioni nella stessa lega (Diamond I).
Un'altro risultato positivo che registro oggi è l'aumento progressivo del numero totale dei forzieri Diamond stagione dopo stagione.
L'introduzione delle misure anti-bots nel Modern Format ha aumentato le ricompense in token SPS per battaglia vinta per i giocatori reali che giocano nel Modern Format rispetto ai giocatori reali e ai bots che giocano nel Wild Format come puoi vedere dalle utili informazioni fornite dal sito: https://splex.gg/tools/reward_pools

La differenza di guadagno in token SPS è più grande nelle leghe iniziali e meno grande nelle leghe Champion.
In una delle mie ultime 10 battaglie vinte nella lega Diamond I del Modern Format ho ottenuto un guadagno di 4.47 SPS che è forse il mio record personale.
Nel Modern Format non ci sono i bots ma è ancora possibile utilizzare i Battle Helpers ma in futuro saranno eliminati anche queste applicazioni perchè è stata approvata una proposta e sono convinto che quando anche i battle helpers saranno esclusi le mie ricompense aumenteranno ulteriormente.
Sono contento di aver scelto di passare nel Modern Format e sono contento di poter giocare solo contro giocatori reali.
Dopo l'introduzione delle misure anti-bots la mia voglia di giocare e di aumentare la forza in battaglia della mia collezione di carte è aumentata di molto.
Nell'ultima stagione ho ottenuto un win rate molto basso ma ho anche giocato quasi sempre nei piccoli ritagli di tempo libero che ho avuto a disposizione e non ho quasi mai guardato le precedenti cinque battaglie del mio avversario e ho perso almeno 30 battaglie senza schierare la mia formazione.
Nella prossima stagione cercherò di migliorare il mio win rate.
Se riuscirò ad aumentare il mio win rate sarò anche in grado di aumentare il mio guadagno in token SPS che mi permetterebbe di raggiungere più velocemente il mio obiettivo relativo ai token SPS staked.
Ho quasi 67K SPS staked ma vorrei raggiungere almeno un quantitativo di 100K SPS staked.
Gli obiettivi che mi sono prefissato per la stagione 118 appena iniziata sono:
- raggiungere per la quarta stagione consecutiva almeno la lega Diamond I per non dover retrocedere nelle leghe Gold all'inizio della stagione successiva.
- aumentare il mio win rate
- aumentare il numero totale stagionale di forzieri Diamond
Per raggiungere i miei obiettivi di gioco continuerò ad aumentare la forza in battaglia della mia collezione di carte tramite acquisti/upgrades di carte che considero utili in battaglia e tramite la vendita di carte che non uso in battaglia.
Durante la stagione appena conclusa ho completato l'upgrade degli evocatori Rari dell'edizione Chaos Legion ad esclusione di General Sloan che non intendo portare al massimo livello perchè ho Lorna Shine (livello 7) e Grandmaster Rathe (livello 4) che considero più utili perchè più versatili.
Per quanto riguarda gli evocatori leggendari utilizzabili nel Modern Format sto pensando di portare al massimo livello Possibilus The Wise che mi potrebbe essere molto utile nelle battaglie in cui è possibile utilizzare solo i mostri che hanno attacco da mischia e quando la regola di battaglia è Stampede.

Purtroppo non sono stato molto fortunato con il contenuto dei forzieri che ho aperto perchè non ho trovato carte soulbound leggendarie che sono le carte che considero più utili in battaglia e che mi piacerebbe avere nella mia collezione al massimo livello ma sono comunque contento di aver fatto dei passi in avanti verso l'upgrade delle carte Soulbound:

Con le carte soulbound che ho trovato nei forzieri durante la stagione 117 sono riuscito ad aumentare il livello di:

PYREWATCH DEVIL è una carta che uso raramente in battaglia ma al quinto livello ha acquisito l'abilitò Dispel particolarmente utile contro carte che hanno l'abilità Blood Lust o contro carte che hanno aumentato le loro statistiche grazie all'abilità Martyr di carte adiacenti.

My win rate is also lower compared to when the anti-bot measures happened but the SPS rewards are also up for me. Nice rewards. I still haven't gotten a single copy of Noa yet and my luck on legendary cards has been horrible.
