It depends, consider that to receive Holding Rewards you must exceed a CROP POWER score of 20000 points and then if you do not buy at least 20 packs of cards will not exceed the CROP POWER score and then buy a pack does not make sense.
If for example you already have a crop power of 18000 then buy a pack and do not open it is a good choice.
Also consider that the cost of Alpha packs has tripled compared to before because you can only buy them on Hive Engine.
I would have to do a calculation to determine which rewards are best to focus on between Leaderboard and Holdin Rewards. In my next post on Dcrops I will try to answer this question ;)
