The Winners of Farming Tales Giveaway: $67 in prizes for 3 lucky Hive Lovers!
3 starter packs of Farming Tales to Hive users and I gladly agreed.About two months ago @phage93 who is a hiver but is also an admin of @farmingtales contacted me on Discord to ask me if I would like to organize a giveaway to distribute
I organized and published the post with the giveaway participation rules on February 17, 2023.
In the same post I also wrote a short introduction to the game which you can read at the following link.

I am on Hive since 4 years and this was the first giveaway I organized.
I expected more participation considering the dollar value of the prize pool which is well above the average of giveaways generally organized on Hive but I am still satisfied because the giveaway post received:
- 109 comments
- 504 upvotes
- 16 requests to participate
- 12 reblogs (spontaneous because I did not request reblogs as a participation requirement).
Requirements for participation and giveaway participants
The giveaway lasted 14 days and received 16 requests to participate but only 7 Hivers met all the participation requirements.
Farming Tales gave me total freedom in choosing the requirements for participation in the giveaway and I chose to allow participation only to users who have demonstrated in the past 6 months that they are true Hive Lovers.
For participation in the giveaway, I have defined a Hive Lover as anyone who:
- **has a reputation on Hive greater than 50
- has not done Power Down in the past 6 months
- has not taken HBDs or liquid HIVEs outside of the Hive ecosystem in the last 6 months**.
- has a minimum of HP:
- if registered on Hive for less than 1 year: HP >= 500 HP
- if registered on Hive for more than 1 year: +100 HP for each month spent on Hive
- has a good level of interaction on Hive = has written more comments than the number of posts.
And so here are the 7 Hive Lovers who met all the giveaway requirements ordered according to the timing of participation:
The drawing of the 3 winners
To ensure maximum transparency and my total non-involvement in the mechanics of the draw I have linked my giveaway to the drawing on Saturday, March 4, 2023 of the national lottery "il gioco del Lotto" in my country: Italy.
The draws of "Il gioco del Lotto" can be followed by live streaming at https://www.lotto-italia.it/lotto/il-lotto-in-diretta and are conducted by the Italian State Monopolies Agency.

The numbers that can be in the national lottery are 90 and for this reason I had set the maximum number of participants in the giveaway equal to 90.
Since there were only 7 eligible participants in the drawing I divided 90 by the number of participants and assigned a range of numbers to each participant based on the time order in which they wrote the giveaway participation comment.

Sono su Hive da 4 anni e questo è stato il primo giveaway che ho organizzato.
Mi aspettavo una maggiore partecipazione considerato il valore in dollari del montepremi che è nettamente sopra la media dei giveaways generalemnte organizzati su Hive ma sono comunque soddisfatto perchè il post del giveaway ha ricevuto:
- 109 commenti
- 504 upvotes
- 16 richieste di partecipazione
- 12 reblog (spontanei perchè non ho richiesto il reblog come requisito di partecipazione).
I requisiti di partecipazione e i partecipanti del giveaway
Il giveaway ha avuto una durata di 14 giorni e ha ricevuto 16 richieste di partecipazione ma solo 7 Hivers hanno soddisfatto tutti i requisiti di partecipazione.
Farming Tales mi ha dato totale libertà nella scelta dei requisiti per la partecipazione al giveaway e io ho scelto di permettere la partecipazione solo agli utenti che hanno dimostrato negli ultimi 6 mesi di essere dei veri Hive Lovers.
Per la partecipazione al giveaway ho definito come Hive Lover chi:
- ha una reputazione su Hive superiore a 50
- non ha fatto Power Down negli ultimi 6 mesi
- non ha portato gli HBD o gli HIVE liquidi al di fuori dell'ecosistema di Hive negli ultimi 6 mesi
- ha un minimo di HP:
- se registrato su Hive da meno di 1 anno: HP >= 500 HP
- se registrato su Hive da più di 1 anno: +100 HP per ogni mese di permanenza su Hive
- ha un buon livello di interazione su Hive = ha scritto un numero di commenti superiore al numero di post.

Per garantire la massima trasparenza e il mio totale non coinvolgimento nelle meccaniche di estrazione ho collegato il mio giveaway all'estrazione di sabato 4 marzo 2023 della lotteria nazionale "il gioco del Lotto" del mio paese: l'Italia.

Sempre sperando che Farming Tales approdi su hive, ma se non lo farà, pazienza. Nel frattempo, colgo l'occasione per la solita domanda che non c'entra un fico con il topic, ma che nel prossimo futuro mi potrebbe cambiare la vita su hive:
Se non vado errata, già nella dichiarazione dei redditi del mio paese di quest'anno c'è una vocina in più per quanto riguarda le criptomonete e se dovesse includere tutti i microtoken le cui frazioni riceviamo quotidianamente su hive-engine, potrei allora superare il minimo esente in fatto di HP (purtroppo non ora, non quest'anno: ho avuto una grossa spesa sanitaria di circa un migliaio di reais e dunque in settimana sarò costretta a un power down più massiccio del preventivato in precedenza per riporre quantomeno la metà di quella somma, dato che c'era stata pure l'aggravante di avere dovuto smettere di lavorare e da autonoma non ho i benefici di un classico impiegato offline nine to five). Ci sarà comunque un apposito articolo in cui spiegherò ogni minuzia, con tanto di foto della spesa ospedaliera (è la più grossa, di ben oltre 750 reais, ma poi ci sono stati pure i farmaci prescritti e ci saranno pure quelli che devo ancora comprare, che purtroppo costano tra tutti assieme circa il 25% di uno stipendio minimo sindacale, ma sono di uso continuo e forse li dovrò prendere a vita). In ogni caso, se ci sarà la sola paturnia farmaci (che purtroppo non è poca), quantomeno mi potrò forse risparmiare quella fiscale, riuscendo spero in futuro di poter mantenere quantomeno 500 in HP (dovrò pur sempre ricorrere ai power down per i pre e probiotici di cui se faccio a meno le conseguenze sono gravemente invalidanti). Il mio dubbio sarebbe: tutti i microtoken !LUV, !LOLZ, !hivebits e compagnia danzante, sono alcoins come hive o contano su qualche altra classificazione? Se fosse quest'ultima ipotesi, dall'anno prossimo mi potrebbe cambiare la vita qui...
Bella domanda cara! So dirti come trasferirli, tradarli e metterli in stake ma dal punto di vista fiscale non so come definirli. Sono token che però non puoi convertire direttamente in FIAT ma devi prima fare vari passaggi passando per la versione Swap di Hive e quindi sicuramente non possono essere considerati altcoins...
