Hello Moon Kart Racers! I wrote about the Astro Kart and LunocityX in a previous post. In this post, let's dive into the stats of the epic kart, Quasar Sport.

Quasar Sport

The Quasar Sport is an epic kart. Now that I've tested the game and played several solo runs, I would recommend not starting with the common kart, Astro Kart. The reason is it's poor handling. It's very difficult to navigate turns and I end up crashing on the side rails. It will take around $6 to upgrade an Astro Kart to level 2 and even then it won't be close to the Quasar Sport in terms of handling stats. For beginner racers, I'd recommend the Quasar Sport instead. At level one, it has 114.1 speed as well as 59 handling, health and acceleration. On top of that, 3 tech and power up slots opened as well as 6 trunk slots. You can already race well at level one with this kart if you equip it with tech and power ups. One copy of Quasar Sport costs $7.50 in the market.

Cards Required to Upgrade

The table shows the cards required to level up the Quasar Sport. Being an epic kart, it requires less cards to maximize compared to the Astro Kart and LunocityX. If you can find available cards in the market, you will need 50 copies to maximize it. At $7.50 per copy, you will spend $375 for the maxed out kart alone but this is already a very competitive kart and may go head to head with legendary karts if you are skilled player. A maxed out Quasar Sport boasts of 155.1 speed and 100 handling, health and acceleration stats. On the slots capacity side, it will have 4 tech and power up slots open and a huge 12 trunk slot capacity. In my opinion, this kart is the best option on performance vs cost.

Conclusion

The Quasar Sport is an epic kart. It balances the high performance of a legendary card and the affordability of commons and rares. Sure, you can get commons and rares for cheap but the Quasar Sport can already be used and equipped with several techs and power ups at level one. If you are serious about winning races but cannot afford the legendary karts, then consider investing in the Quasar Sport. However, if you have the funds and willing to spend on the cream of the crop karts then let's check out the legendary karts on my next post.
