A Great Ally to Defeat Monsters with Flying Ability

in Olio di Balena12 hours ago (edited)

Monsters with the Flying ability are difficult to defeat because they have a good chance of evading attacks. To face this type of monster, the Night Reaper is my favorite choice, it has a magic attack so it has a 100% chance of hitting the attack (except if the monster has the Phase ability) and it will cause more damage against monsters with the Flying ability because of the Wingbreak ability.

The Night Reaper has a magic attack and costs 11 mana to be used in battles and each mana spent is worth it because in addition to having a powerful magic attack, it also has a lot of life and even armor, but what really makes the Night Reaper special are its abilities.

Flying, Wingbreak, Reflection Shield and Last Stand, these are the abilities that the Night Reaper has and I will explain how each of them works.

  • The Flying ability increases the Night Reaper's chances of dodging melee and ranged attacks from monsters that do not have the Flying ability.

  • The Wingbreak ability makes the Night Reaper target the first monster with the Flying ability and it will deal +2 damage against monsters that have the Flying ability.

  • The Reflection Shield ability causes the Night Reaper to take 0 damage against the abilities Corrosive Ward, Magic Reflect, Return Fire, Thorns and the damage caused by Blast Splash.

  • The Last Stand ability causes the Night Reaper to increase all of his stats by +50% when he is the last ally monster in the battle, which means that his attack, speed, current health and armor will increase by 50%.

The Night Reaper is one of my favorite monsters to use in battles with a lot of mana available because he will be very useful in causing damage and even defending since he has a lot of health and a good chance to dodge attacks. In addition, it is very common to have monsters with the Flying ability in the battle, so the Night Reaper's Wingbreak ability will be very useful most of the time, especially when the Earthquake rule is in the battle.

Remember that the Night Reaper only has all of the abilities I mentioned when he is at maximum level.

  • The Flying and Wingbreak abilities are unlocked at level 1.
  • The Reflection Shield ability is unlocked at level 3.
  • The Last Stand ability is unlocked at level 6.

Even at level 1, the Night Reaper is already very useful, but in my opinion, it gets better when it is at least level 3.

Unfortunately, my Night Reaper's level is still low because it's not easy to get epic cards from Loot Chests (this is my main choice in the rewards store), but I'm gradually evolving it and I'll probably soon switch to Rarity Draws and have as a top priority evolving my current reward cards.
