Commander Slade, An Ally With High Chances of Evading Attacks

in Olio di Balena4 days ago (edited)

One of my main goals in Splinterlands is to build a card collection and to do so I am increasing my number of cards from the Chaos Legion, Gladiator and Bounty editions. In the Bounty edition there are many powerful cards and so all the Glint I receive is spent on getting them, but not through Rarity Draws because I prefer Loot Chests since I can also earn energy and jackpots from them.

There are several bounty cards currently, but I have no doubt that Commander Slade is my favorite, he is an incredible card even at level 1 and has been very useful to me in my battles.

Why is Commander Slade my favorite card from the current Soulbound edition?

As I mentioned before he has a powerful attack and also a great chance to dodge attacks and this is because of his ability Dodge and his speed, but I'll explain all of his abilities in detail.

Commander Slade has 4 abilities in total and they are: Enfeeble, Dodge, Reflection Shield and Backfire.

The ability Enfeeble makes Commander Slade decrease by -1 the melee attack of the card he successfully attacks, this is a great ability to weaken the damage that the opponent's monsters can cause.

The ability Dodge makes Commander Slade have +25% chance to dodge melee and ranged attacks, combining these chances with Commander Slade's speed he will be able to dodge several attacks, without a doubt.

The ability Reflection Shield makes Commander Slade immune to damage from the abilities Corroside Ward, Thorns, Return Fire, Magic Reflect and Blast Splash Damage.

The ability Backfire makes Commander Slade deal 2 physical damage to the monster that attacks him and misses the attack, this is a great way for Commander Slade to cause even more damage in battle since his chances of dodging attacks are high.

In addition to all these incredible abilities, Commander Slade also has great Basic Stats. He is capable of being an excellent tank since his amount of life and armor are very high and he also has a powerful melee attack. I have no doubt that Commander Slade is one of the best options currently for defending your monsters in the first position and I say this even using him at level 1, which is the level I currently have him at.

While opening Loot Chests is my main way to get reward cards, I also have to open Rarity Draws sometimes depending on how much Glint I earn in a season. I focus on Rare Draws so that I have a chance to get Commander Slade and get him to max level as quickly as possible.
