Hello, Splinterlands Warriors! Today, I want to share a rather unique experience from my battle of the day. I tried a strategy that initially seemed simple, but the results were completely unexpected! This strategy involves cards that are often underestimated, but with the right combination, they can perform as well as legendary cards. And it’s all thanks to Weapon Training!
Team Formation and Strategy
First, I chose VENARI HEATSMITH as the centerpiece. This monster is often overlooked because it has no attack and is usually just used as a damage sponge. But this time, I had a different plan! I paired it with two Weapon Training monsters—BERIX SNAKEYE and MOXIAN REBEL. With this combination, VENARI HEATSMITH was no longer just a passive tank—it now had both ranged and magic attacks!
When you think about it, it's like having a legendary card with dual attack types, but at a much lower cost. MOXIAN REBEL is also a budget-friendly card with a massive impact in this strategy. With two Weapon Training monsters in play, I was able to turn VENARI HEATSMITH into a real threat on the battlefield.
As the battle began, I felt a bit nervous. My opponent had high-damage monsters and seemed superior in stats. But once VENARI HEATSMITH started attacking with its newfound power, I immediately knew this strategy was going to work! Each round, it unleashed both ranged and magic attacks simultaneously, dealing more than enough damage to take down enemy monsters one by one.
This strategy really opened my mind to the potential of Weapon Training. If you want to maximize its effects, make sure the monsters receiving the boost have different attack types, allowing for varied damage output. VENARI HEATSMITH, which was once just a passive tank, became a versatile attacker. Plus, this strategy is budget-friendly, making it a great option for players still building their card collection.
