What Doesn't Kill You Ruleset & My Favorite Strategy and Amazing Battle | Splinterlands Social Media Challenge

in Olio di Balena19 hours ago

Hello everyone, Welcome to my Splinterlands Social Media Challenge post. In this post, I will be talking about one of my favorite strategies in battles with the What doesn't kill you ruleset, and more, as well as an amazing battle. I hope it will be useful for you.

First of all, I would like to say that I really enjoy playing Splinterlands and creating content about Splinterlands. Even though I am currently on a business trip, I can't stay away from creating content and playing Splinterlands, I'm definitely addicted to Splinterlands. Even though I won't be able to create very long content this time, I won't miss my Splinterlands Social Media Challenge this week. I hope it will be useful for you.

What Doesn't Kill You Ruleset

In battles with the What Doesn't Kill You ruleset, all Monsters gain the Enrage ability which multiplies their speed and melee attack by 1.5x rounded up when not at full health. However, the attack multiplier only affects Melee Monsters.

In battles with the What Doesn't Kill You ruleset I usually prefer Melee Attack Monsters and use Possibilus the Wise as a Summoner to give them Trample Ability and Reach Ability. And it works very well in most battles. However, Monsters with Enrage Ability that have high speed can ruin my strategy because it can be very difficult to hit them with Melee Attacks. I also avoid scattered attacks on enemies because angering too many enemies can be a big disadvantage, so instead I prefer to target specific enemies.

Let's see them in a battle.

Battle Ruleset

  • Aimless: All Monsters have the Scattershot ability.
  • What Doesn’t Kill You: All Monsters have the Enrage ability.

Scattershot ability : Ranged and Magic attacks hit a random enemy target.
Enrage ability : This unit has 50% bonus Melee attack and Speed when not at full health.

According to the ruleset of the battle, all Monsters will have the Scattershot Ability and Enrage Ability.

Considering the rules of the battle, I thought that using Magic Attack Monsters in such a battle could be a disadvantage, as I mentioned above, so I used Melee Attack Monsters. And I would like to point out that I pay special attention to choosing Monsters with high speed.

BATTLE COMMENTS

Round 1

As seen in the first round, Monsters with the Enrage Ability would become more dangerous if their health was damaged. And the Melee Attack Monsters on my team also had the Trample Ability, making them more effective. And in the first round, a Monster from the opposing team was destroyed.

Also, as seen Ranged and Magic attacks are not boosted by the Enrage ability, but melee and speed stats are.

Round 2

Although some Monsters in my team missed, the others managed to destroy 3 enemies. In the second round, 3 Monsters were destroyed from the opposing team, while 2 Monsters were destroyed from my team. Although it was not easy to hit the enemies, the Trample ability was very useful.

Round 3

In the third round, 1 more Monster from the opposing team was destroyed, while no Monsters were destroyed on my team. Only Runemancer Kye remained on the opposing team and it only had 8 health left.

Round 4

Coastal Sentry, who has 8 Melee Attack, had no difficulty in destroying Runemancer Kye and my team managed to win the battle.

The battle only lasted 4 rounds despite costing 49 mana. At the end of the battle, while all the monsters on the opposing team were destroyed, only 2 monsters from my team could be destroyed, and it was part of my strategy that Venari Marksrat, who had the Martyr Ability, was destroyed by the enemies. , and it was part of my strategy that Venari Marksrat, who had the Martyr Ability, was destroyed by the enemies. My strategy worked pretty well and my team won the battle easily against a more powerful team
