ATP US OPEN ITA-ENG

Siamo arrivati alle semifinali degli US OPEN vedremo Djokovic contro Zverev, mentre nell'altra il Canadese Auger-Aliassime si scontrerà con il Russo Medvedev.

Djokovic è in piena forma, riesce a esprimere al meglio il suo gioco nonostante nelle ultime due partite il match si è prolungato fino al quarto set rimane sempre il favorito. Ha disputato una bellissima partita contro Matteo Berrettini mettendo a segno 12 aces e 44 colpi vincenti. Dopo aver perso il primo set per 7a5 risponde con un 6-2 6-2 6-3 per accedere alle semifinale, è riuscito ad attraversare il muro Italiano creando gioco e movimento portando il suo avversario allo sfinimento.
Alexander Zverev attraversa il suo miglior periodo, attualmente uscente vincitore da Tokyo, cerca la doppietta con gli US OPEN. Approda alle semifinale con molta scioltezza e semplicità senza trovare difficoltà. Rispedisce a casa il giovane talento Sinner e successivamente Harris in tre set, percentuale di prime oltre 80% e così anche negli ace. Vedremo una bellissima sfida tra il Serbo e il Tedesco, sicuramente è favorito il numero uno al mondo, ma non sarà così sorprendente se dovesse vincere Zverev, mi aspetto una partita molto combattuta che potrebbe terminare al quinto set.

Auger-Aliassime a soli 21 anni è 15 al mondo con alte prospettive.
Giocatore con un gran senso della palla, riesce a creare gioco creando molte verticalizzazioni sul campo e cercando la profondità, con una buona battuta .
Credo che in futuro potrà sicuramente entrare nei primi dieci al mondo, per quanto mi riguardo manca di costanza, ha un grande equilibrio in campo ma spesso non riesce a portare a termine ciò che deve.
Dall'altra parte c'è il Russo Daniil Medvedev secondo al mondo, approda in semifinale senza difficoltà, credo che riuscirà a sconfiggere il Canadese senza troppe complicanze. Ottime percentuali di ace e punti con la prima di servizio, è una vera spina nel fianco, un giocatore con una grandissima determinazione e costanza, la sua arma vincente è il dritto, molto potente e con un basso rimbalzo un vero è proprio missile.
Secondo me la finale sarà Djokovic- Medvedev, attenzione perchè potrebbero esserci soprese, detto ciò che vinca il migliore e buon tennis a tutti.
